>Greetings grin-US citizen, mi est anonymous, *brap, donald you are a jew *EARTH SHATTERING BRAP*
Who wants to tell them that Trump is more anti-establishment than all of Anonymous put together? Hell, the establishment tried to get him assassinated TWICE and have states sue him on RICO charges meant for gangs.
Up to 15+ years at this point. You had people in various /i/ related IRC's back in the late 2000's that got arrested for flying too close to the sun served or became informants, while others who didn't do retarded illegal stuff and just did stuff 'for the lulz' moved on. Chanology in 2008 was the death knell for it all since it attracted the very type of people who took the "internet is serious business" phrase literally and within years started disassociating itself with *chan culture. I'm still waiting for the day of the grandest form of irony when "Anonymous" declares war on 4chan.Considering Anonymous were feds in the last 10 or so years, I wonder which spook is butthurt.
Wasn't Fox News, but a local LA affiliate KTTV, which is owned by Fox Television Stations for their evening news program back in early 2007.Fox News made a segment on 'the hacker known as 4chan' so /b/-tards took it one-step further by attributing their actions to 'anonymous' whenever they defaced a public website with an easily-guessable password.
My tinfoil sense says that 4chan itself was compromised as long, if not longer.Up to 15+ years at this point. You had people in various /i/ related IRC's back in the late 2000's that got arrested for flying too close to the sun served or became informants, while others who didn't do retarded illegal stuff and just did stuff 'for the lulz' moved on. Aubrey Cottle (born April 6, 1987),[1] also known as Kirtaner or Kirt, is a Canadian website forum administrator who claims to be an early member of the hacktivist group Anonymous.[2] Cottle was involved with Anonymous during the late 2000s and in its resurgence beginning in 2020, in which the group attempted to combat the far-right conspiracy movement QAnon
In February 2022, Aubrey Cottle claimed responsibility for a hack on Christian crowdfunding website GiveSendGo, which was hosting a fundraiser for the Canada convoy protest. The hack released donor's names, personal information, and donation amounts for all the campaigns on the website.
Cool, they'll be gone in a few months like the mainstream media when the USAID checks stop pouring in.
Because it was anonymous (as per the name), anybody could declare themselves members of the legion -- including grifters, glowies, and drooling dumbshits. The Tragedy of the Commons soon overwhelmed the movement, and it died by a thousand idiots in Guy Fawkes masks reposting each other's idiocy for an audience of stupids.Anonymous used to be pretty based, now that the original members have left, it's been hijacked by USAID funded leftists in the past few years.
This guy managed to reduce the line to a dot.On a long enough timeline, everything becomes lame and gay.
I heard rumors about /b/ not even having the standard janny stuff, but the jannies there are cops or feds. I cannot verify it, but I heard they never seem to recruit jannies for that board in the usual manner.4chan itself was compromised. The Jake Brahm incident in 2006 regarding the prank threads about bombing football stadiums on top of the CP that was being posted on /b/ got moot in a lot of trouble with the FBI . All culminated in the 2008 Vice President nominee Sarah Palin email hacks posted on /b/ which moot was forced to attend federal court to testify.
And yeah Kirtaner is an informant, on top of being an aging has-been drug addict, but he puts too much credit for anything in his basket when he just hangs around more semi-capable people.
Norhing as of late, and certainly this shit isn't their M.O. either. They actually done something? More than still larpfagging V of Vendetta?
The fact that Cottle didn't face legal repercussions for hacking and releasing private info should tell you everything you need to know.I really love how these "totally organic" movements and groups just get turned off and on when they are needed.
How'd they go from attacking legitimately dangerous institutions like Scientology to faggot shit like this?
There was a series of posts back in July 2010 speaking about this in great detail. Granted, take it with a grain of salt since this could've easily been a very elaborate "Cool story bro" shitpost in the pre-/pol/ era of the site, however many of things brought up did align with the events that did occur in the years following up to it and aren't exaggerated, especially since it took place months after moot testified in federal court.I heard rumors about /b/ not even having the standard janny stuff, but the jannies there are cops or feds. I cannot verify it, but I heard they never seem to recruit jannies for that board in the usual manner.
Also the amount of blame 4chan is still getting, it is telling that no jurno or activist found good old Moot or looked into Hiromoot either. Oh well, must be a coincidence.
