I was trying to make the point that people can and do boil down their support of someone and how much that person is allowed to be torn apart based on how much they agree with their politics. So, for instance, someone who really does like and agree with Asmongold sees Destiny as an enemy because he's a trans-supporting commie Democrat and not, say, that he's a degenerate sex offender (they put that on number two or three on their list). Destiny's dead mom (who isn't dead) would be fair game but Asmon's is off limits.

It is disgusting how people blame Asmongold for his mom’s death. The man has been open about his struggles; mental health, hygiene, and all during some of the darkest times in his life, and instead of showing empathy, dgg twist it into some false narrative of neglect. His mother passed away due to illness, and he’s spoken about it with nothing but sadness and vulnerability. it’s a complete lack of basic human decency. Blaming someone for a parent’s death is beyond cruel, and it says way more about the people making those accusations than it does about Asmongold. Zack’s been real about his life and struggles, and that takes guts.

I completely agree. Nothing is more powerful than authenticity. It has the power to shape perception, to heal, and even to overcome destruction. Asmongold seems like someone who understands that—he moves through the world being nothing but himself. There’s a rare strength in that, in refusing to bend to societal pressure or expectation. I have a lot of respect for a man who can be vulnerable and still rise above the weight of public scrutiny.
