No, my point was that Linus is stirring up petty drama over how he thinks Steve doesn't uphold journalistic standards, and people should take that for what it is at face value. I have zero clue how what I said got misconstrued into this. They've very publicly both taken jabs at each other multiple times and by no means is Linus free of any criticism, which I literally said in my post.

IIRC the LTT chart was all fucked up because, from what I understand, they didn't run the AIO's long enough to let them set in/break in/whateveryouwannacallit in which threw off the entire chart and basically made it useless.

After watching the clips I can somewhat understand where Linus is coming from. The clip used in the Honey video is without the context of the question he was responding to. It was still a stupid thing to say 'people will hate me either way so I shouldn't do the right thing'. GN's obsession with muh tech journalism is a little over the top and Steve puts himself on a high pedestal for not being a shill.

Linus could've a) ignored it completely b) reached out privately with a simple offer to explain himself or c) released a short public statement explaining his perspective, instead of this crybully bullshit.
