I disagree, I think Elon is a manchild and bought twitter purely to powertrip.

Elon bought Xitter for the same reason Bezos bought the Washington Post. He wanted a soundboard where he could promote his ideas and silence people whose ideas he disliked. This is great in both cases if you happen to agree with them on one issue or another, but in the end they're working for their own best interests, not yours.
