It isn't small, though. The new method reduces the excess death rate by between 200 and 600 deaths per week, which flips most of the period of Q1 2018 to Q4 2019 from a positive to a negative rate. It diverges significantly during the post-covid period at the point where these vaccines were being introduced and again reduces the death rate by between 300 and 900 deaths per week, which once again flips the rate from positive to negative in many cases. The total excess deaths in 2023 is reduced from approximately 31,000 to just over 10,000 by these changes. 20,000 deaths redefined as "normal" by statistical magic. If they're willing to manipulate the excess death rate to that extent, there's absolutely no reliable. Redefining up to 900 deaths per week from being unexpected to being "normal" is a significant change and the fact that this new methodology was introduced just as excess deaths were ramping up after the introduction of the mRNA treatments is one hell of a coincidence.
