2024 Syrian opposition offensives - The first Syrian rebel offensive against Government forces since March 2020

Bad ending: a new terror state is formed with access to Assads old arsenal.
Neutral ending: The country struggles, possibly goes into another civil war to find out who is king sand nigger.
Good ending: the country unifies, puts its sandnigger ways in the past, and tries to be a functional state.

I'm torn between bad and neutral ending.

It was my understanding that the anti-Assad freedom fighters we've been supporting were just a different flavour of decapitation-happy sand-nigger and not brown-skinned california liberals intent on establishing trans welfare in Syria.

Very bad chance of Good Ending. The leader of the main Rebel Group is ex-Al-Qaeda amd worked with ISIS and is even divisive to other Sunni Muslims.
Bad Ending: I think cooler Heads Will prevail but I have been wrong. Until the Qatari oil money is gone anyway.
Neutral Ending: Bingo.

That is correct. Legally, HTS, the main faction rn, is a terrorist organization in the eyes of the US government and has been for years. It's leader was a ex member of al queida. Yeah we in for a ride.

I'm thinking neutral ending unless they really, really decided they don't want anymore of this war shit, and 10 years of fighting was enough. War fatigue is possible, they could give up being terrorists... but I doubt it lol.

My two cents is that it will be a Sunni islamic dictatorship, which beats the Shia islamic dictatorship by virtue of sharing the Sunny sect with the majority of Syrians.

Former regime officials that are not turning coats quicly will be beheaded, and so will be the kurds.

Refugees in europe will stay in europe, and not precisely because they're liberal minded.

Americans will find again they funded yet another not-so-loyal regime (Thanks, Hillary!) and Putin will have lost a valuable Assad-et.

Israel might find itself with yet another enemy in the region. It all will depend on whether if the new government's islamic faith will supersede sectarian hate, and whether if they'll feel muslim brothers supersede their allegiance to Iran and Assad.

And yet more confusion to strike the muslim world, which is, at this very moment, in a deep crisis. Not that you would know considering they've practically conquered Europe.

Isreal actually made moves already lol, they've fully taken the Golan heights after over half a century of stalemate. They've secured their position. A nigger rush is going to be... hard to put it bluntly, just from a geographic perspective.

As for the rest, yeah probably lol.

I was a teenager when this shit started lol

What are the potential geopolitical consequences of all this?

Bad for Iran and Russia. Extremely bad for Hizbollah. Good for Israel and Turkey. Probably bad for the Kurds, but they are hated by everyone, and this won't change much. Probably bad for the Palestinians, but they are hated by almost everyone, and this won't change much. Probably good forthe majority of Syrians.

Its doubtful many of the Shia and Alawite administration goes turncoat unless they are doing Taqqiya (lying about their faith, they are allowed to do this) and the Christians have been shedding blood for centuries. It very likely Will be some kind of Emirate similar to Afghanistan by the time the dust settles.

They probably wont end relations with Russia outright though and be in a Position similar to Uzbekistan where they are gaming both sides because without some Aid from Russia they would likely just become a protectorate of Qatar Or Saudi Arabia.

And thats assuming there isnt a Ba’athist leader Or a radical Shia Cleric (funded by Iran) that steps up and fights back. Still too early to call on that.

I would hope a Ba’athist leader takes control but agrees to free and fair Democratic Elections. However I really doubt it. The party doesnt have the Best track Record and frankly its impossible to predict what Will happen because there are even more factions than those I mentioned and often very much at odds.

All I can say is God Bless Syria and Kyrie Eleison.

If this is true and not just hope posting, that's by far the best outcome for him. It's far better than any other dictator has gotten in the end.
I want him to get a chin implant. I’m gonna e-mail his wife about it.

Most probably can't read, but it isn't as if you need to read to know how to drive a car or shoot an AK-47
One of them was sitting in a helicopter watching a YouTube on how to fly a helicopter, the other day on The News.

which could be fun for all involved….

>brutal dictator removed
>west hails it as progress
>replaced with brutal and less stable islamist regime

The cycle continues. These... people... are inbred violent pedo death cult mongrels. A progressive peaceful democracy is not possible for them, regardless of what the western pol-sci and journoscum tell you. They basically need to be under the thumb of an autocrat to not just be constantly infighting, they're essentially incapable of self governance, much like africans. Pretending otherwise and trying to suggest western values to them is monumentally retarded.

Did they find him? Has he fled yet? He's been silent ever since his hit song. How can this be.

Some of these countries get it right but it often requires a balance.

One reason I think the British installed the Hashemites in Jordan is because they are blood related to Mohammed but had reasonably intermingled with the West. It gives a degree of legitimacy to the Traditionalists and yet also Liberalizes the Country some at a gradual level. That didnt work out in Iraq because of factionalism and didn’t work in the Hejaz because if Jihadis that predate Salafism and Arab Nationalism.

The fact is though that without gradual integration no Culture Will accept Western Values except by Force. There Will always be Traditionalists in the mix and trying to get them to compromise Will only radicalize the Traditionalists of that Culture further.

(I am not Arabic Or Muslim, merely an observation from knowing both).

While Assad's goverment is out, is pretty likely the civil war will continue between the rebel factions. Cannot wait to see how it turns out...

It is exceedingly unlikely that HTS will maintain anything resembling positive relations with Russia, besides maybe letting them keep that big base at Tartus in exchange for money (notably they've refused to storm the Russian bases so far). Russian bombs were one of the pillars holding Assad's regime up for 13 years (besides Iran & Hezbollah) and they especially detested HTS as terrorists right up until the day of Damascus' fall.

If HTS becomes anyone's protectorate, they will 100% be Turkey's. Saudi Arabia are too far away & didn't invest as much in these guys' success as Sultan Erdogan did.

Also, Ba'athism is 110% deader than the dodo now, everywhere. HTS' final victory heralds the final twilight of that ideology, Syria under Assad was the last Baathist-ruled state on the planet after Saddam went down. As the former internal political pillar of Assad's dictatorship, there is absolutely no way that HTS will allow the Ba'athists to regain any measure of influence in their new regime unless the Ba'athists in question are 1) Sunni and 2) swear to abandon & shit on their former Ba'athism forever.

Former Ba'athist party cadres will frankly be lucky if they're not exterminated in the coming weeks & months, the Islamists are not exactly a forgiving bunch traditionally and while not chimping out & massacring religious minorities just for being 'apostates', 'pagans', etc. is one thing (that's already a big ask and big test of the pragmatism of Al-Jolani/Al-Shar'a), it's a very different thing to ask for mercy toward the people they regard as Syria's (and especially their own) direct oppressors & parasites for the past 60 years. The Ba'athists left in Iraq are never going to be allowed back into power by the Shiite majority, and the same is true re: the Ba'athist remnants in Syria and the Sunni majority there; in both cases, as Ba'athism in both countries were based on a minority demographic (Sunnis for Saddam, Alawites for the Assad clan), they wouldn't be able to win a free & fair democratic election even if one was held anyway.

Lmao take a look at his Insta just now, he's already accepted defeat and put the Syrian rebels' flag in his profile picture.

(For anyone wondering, this is Rami Kazour, the guy behind the famous 'God, Syria and Bashar!' song)

I misread that and thought you said geographical, which is relevant to the subject, so I may aswell answer the question.... Greater Israel.

Syria will cease to even exist as a country if the zionists have their way. Assad's regime has been branded a "rogue" nation and placed on the globalist naughty list for decades, much like Iran and several other countries, and has been subsequently shunned and demonised by most of the (((international community))).

The future doesn't look too rosy for Syrians, especially those of the Christian variety. From what I can gather there are 2 outcomes which will potentially take place... A corrupt globohomo puppet handed the reins, similar to the Ukraine government or a brutal Islamic leadership, with all the trademark, err "qualities", which we have learned to expect from such stone age-esque, Middle Eastern governments.

Hamas celebrating the death of Hezbollah by congratulating a "free" Syria is the funniest development. I truly hope Iran recalculates and let these stinky camelfuckers to die on top of their excrements. I fucking hate Palestinian cockroaches, man...
