2024 Syrian opposition offensives - The first Syrian rebel offensive against Government forces since March 2020

Looks to me like he was dead before they started the crane. You know how much sand niggers love their corpse desecration.
Turns out it may not have actually been him in that video, but there were other reports from hours before that that claim he was killed by 'militants' (not a lynch mob of angry civvies) somewhere in Latakia. No videos of that (yet), but he was supposedly imprisoned for murder again and he doesn't seem important enough that Assad would bother flying his ass out to Moscow after causing the SAA so much trouble, so it seems quite plausible - man made many enemies both inside his own camp and outside of it in life.

Lol. Turns out being a turbo cunt thief sack of shit isn't so good for your life expectancy.
Everyone gangsta until they replace the gallows with a crane just for you.
Hehe yep. Sadly it wasn't Bashar but but oh well.
I don't know where you ziggers are getting this cope, but Russia looking like a bitch on the world stage isn't going get them a better seat at the negotiating table.

This isn't some 28D Chess play, this is Russia lacking the ability to force project in time to save Their Guy™.

The government forces hadn't made any significant gains since 2015 despite uncontested air dominance because they were arabs. Russia lacked that conflux of "ability" and "will" to beable help them enact the needed genocide to clear out the rebels, and anything Iran did provided a pretext for Das Juden to launch airstrikes.
this was the inevitable outcome given the state the loyalist forces had degraded to.
Ehh government gains solidified and stopped in late 2019, maybe by March 2020.

Even so, that's 4+ YEARS to get their fucking shit together and they did NOTHING. Nothing except rob from Syrians and smuggle drugs and be Iran's bitch.

As for Russia, they look like fucking retards, and WEAK retards at that.

1016 days since the start of the SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION and the Syrian rebels did in 11 days what Russia COULDN'T FUCKING DO IN UKRAINE.

Ahahahha holy shiiiiittt 😂

Russia is probably losing their port and airfield in Syria.

Ahaha lmao. Being a Junior member of the most hated family in Syria is no fun when said family BTFOs off to Russia without you.

Fucking womp womp womp

Interesting. It did look like him from the old article and he's (rightly) despised even by his own side for being the standard corrupt abusive princeling-thug who uses his nepotistic connections to get away with being a cunt (up to & including murdering generals on his side) so it wouldn't have surprised me that he got killed even in a former Assad loyalist bastion like Latakia, but I too have just started reading people mentioning this was 'probably' from Daraa instead. I'll have to go back & edit my old post.

Note that the translation from Facebook lists this guys last name as Assad (أسد) but the original post in Arabic shows that it is actually As'ad (أَسْعَد), which is a completely unrelated name.

NATO already embarrassed itself at the world stage when they supported Ukraine and now have to urge Zelensky to cede territory to Russia. This entire Syrian war is going to be the US and Israel bombing HTS and Turkey and Russia bombing the SDF. The US and Israel had like 10 fucking years to at least make an attempt to get rid of the Russians and I still think they wont do it.

From the looks of it I don't think some major gas line projects will happen. Israel with its gas depot shit wont happen, UAE using Syria through Turkey(back and forth arguments with the Russians before on running a gas-line through europe that still hasn't been resolved) wont happen either. In the end the Euros are still getting cucked from getting their gas. Russians are still sitting in their military bases. So what strategic goal does the US or Israel have at this point in Syria other than the US keeping the oil fields? Maybe blocking Iran from supporting Hezbollah is the only one goal I see with the assumption the Iranians chicken out.

I saw a leg movin' up and down, tho.
It looks like that was due to people in the crowd? Hard to tell from the angle. There is some jerking but I think that's just due to the crane.

Ukraine only needed about that much time to oust the Moscow Puppet.

Russia is probably losing their port and airfield in Syria.
This is looking more and more likely. Allie Jay is most unhappy about Russian airstrikes, and Turkey is supposedly instructing their boy to ignore lease offers in exchange for getting the US to slacken support for SDF (Kurdish) positioning in the new order.

Are those ships protected by the 100,000 paratroopers that defended and encircled Homs? Because unless that's the case they are gone. Fucking lol believing Russian Government press releases.

The opposition will all start killing one another and lose all of their gains, Israel will get stretched even thinner, Turkey will take a W, Russia will keep her ports, and Nafoids will quietly stop cheering on Jihadists and pretend like the war never happened after two weeks.

And the Kurds will do whatever Kurds do. I don’t care about them.

If the IRANIAN government falls next year.... Russia will literally have zero allies/friendly (ish) nations left of note besides fucking Belarus and .... North Korea 😆

Oh wait and Algeria, forgot about them.

Russia sure knows how to pick winners doesn't it?

I guess the watermelon seller attitude to Putin might further confirm their stay in Syria.

Wasn't he saying how he wants Total Kurd Death immediately after this? I think I'm starting to see the whole picture here. Crazy to think that Bashar fucked up bad enough that Russia would rather have Turkey take over instead.

So what strategic goal does the US or Israel have at this point in Syria other than the US keeping the oil fields? Maybe blocking Iran from supporting Hezbollah is the only one goal I see with the assumption the Iranians chicken out.
I'm assuming US would want to take Kurds under their wing again, but that could be a problem if Erdogan begins wiping them out from Syrian territory.

Kurds are a wildcard. Turks hate them with a fiery passion that makes Israel's position on the existence of an independent Palestine look soft. Realistically, Kurds are occupying strategic Iraqi-Syrian border crossing that the US might want to monopolize in the event the Reformed Caliphate of Moderate Headchoppers go the way moderate rebels tend to go. Turkey is funding and arming Sunni Jihadi groups that the US might not be too thrilled with long term. Also, the Iraqi Shiite militias won't be happy being bordered by a force not-too-distinct from IS. They too would prefer a Kurdish buffer zone. I don't think the Israelis care at all about this issue. They're in this to stop arms flow to Lebanon, not nation build.

I think it all boils down to whether or not Erdogan feels like he has the international clout to go all out on annihilating the Kurds. This really just depends on the US' willingness to punish the Turkish state if it interferes with its own ambitions in the region.
