한국 인터넷은 서구 인터넷과 매우 흡사합니다. 한국인들은 포럼에 글을 올리고 관심 있는 주제에 대해 떠들기를 좋아하는데, 그중에서도 가장 좋아하는 것이 바로 가십입니다. 모든 사람들이 어느 정도 가십을 좋아하지만, 특히 한국인들은 가십을 좋아합니다.
현재 한국에서 벌어지고 있는 젠더 전쟁에 대해 들어보셨을 거라 생각하는데요, 여기서는 그다지 관련이 없으므로 이 문제의 거대한 역사에 대해 지루하게 설명하지 않겠습니다. 이 섹션에서 알아야 할 유일한 것은 이러한 성별 갈등으로 인해 한국 인터넷이 이 문제의 두 가지 측면으로 나뉘었고, 한 웹 사이트는 남성 중심이고 다른 웹 사이트는 여성 중심이며 둘 다 이성에 대한 극단적 인 신념을 가지고 있다는 것입니다.

메갈리아 회원 전선미가 자기 집 바로 옆 공원의 어린 남자아이들을 '좆린이', '핑크좆'으로 칭해 성적으로 비하하며 "먹고 싶다", "좆을 공략하고 싶다", "좆세워서 교육 시켜주고 싶다"와 같이 외설적이고 음란한 표현을 써서 아동과 성관계를 맺고 싶다 또는 아동을 강간하고 싶다는 욕구를 적나라하게 드러낸 내용의 글을 쓴 사건이다. 아니? 성기 크기가 작아서 불만일 땐 언제고 한 일베 회원이 세이브메갈을 이용해서 다른 글을 본 결과 놀랍게도 글을 쓴 회원은 병설 유치원 교사였던 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이 회원의 신상이 네티즌들에 의해 노출되고 있었기에 일이 커질 수 있었다.
반발이 거세지자 전 씨는 남성 공간에서 아동 강간 농담은 흔한 일이며 자신은 심각하지 않다고 주장하며 자신을 변호하는 글을 올렸습니다. 이는 본질적으로 “내가 한 행동이 잘못되었다는 것을 알지만 남자들이 훨씬 더 많이 한다”고 말한 것이기 때문에 사람들을 더욱 화나게 했습니다.
이 외에도 무도갤에서는 이전부터 방통위 등에 메갈리아 회원들이 올린 수많은 음란물들을 신고를 하였고, 그 중 몇몇 개는 삭제되기로 결정이 내려졌다. 또한 다음에서는 메갈리아가 수위가 높은 성인게시물들로 인해서 검색 제외 상태가 된 상태이며, 경찰청과 방통위에서도 차단 예정이라고 한다.
폭행 옹호
2015년 11월 29일 19:00경 메갈리아 사이트에 한 회원이 남자 초등학생을 폭행했다는 게시글이 등록되었습니다. 글에 따르면 이 회원은 남자 초등학생이 길거리에서 다른 여성의 외모를 '예쁘다', '못생겼다'고 평가하자 격분해 남자 초등학생을 무릎으로 가격하고 달아났다고 합니다. 댓글에 참여한 메갈리아 회원들은 압도적인 추천 수로 이러한 범죄 행위를 옹호하는 데 동조하는 모습을 보였습니다.
살인 방법 가이드 배포 & 군포 묻지마 살인 사건
워마드 회원들은 에틸렌글리콜 독살 등 다양한 살인 방법에 대한 가이드를 담은 게시물을 작성해 악명을 떨쳤습니다. 부동액으로 남성을 독살하려 했다는 게시물을 올린 사용자도 많아 성별 갈등의 불씨를 더욱 키웠습니다. 이런 태도라면 누군가 실제 살인을 시도하는 것은 시간 문제였습니다.
2019년 6월 3일 새벽, 군포시 당정동에서 이 모 씨(19)라는 여성이 남 모 씨(78)라는 외할머니를 흉기로 30여 차례 찔러 살해한 사건이 발생했습니다.
가해자는 워마드 회원으로 활동하던 중 무작위 남성을 살해하고 자살할 계획을 세웠으나 뜻대로 되지 않자 외할머니를 살해했다. 이 씨는 이후 징역 25년을 선고받았으나 2심 판결 이후 형량이 17년으로 감형됐다.
'하늘이'라는 이름의 말티즈를 키우고 있었다. 원래부터 워마드 유저였으며 2017년 5월부터 본격적인 유튜브 활동을 시작했다. 초반에는 '한국남자'의 단어를 재배열한 '한남국자'라는 이름으로 유튜브를 시작했다. 그 과정에서 워마드의 남성혐오 유튜버 모임 연합인 레드필의 멤버로 참가하게 된다. 유튜브 계정이 삭제될 때마다 부계정을 만들었는데, 부계정들도 번번히 삭제되자 아예 계정을 여러 개 만들어 놓는 식으로 회피하였다. 2017년 7월 26일에 처음으로 얼굴을 공개하였다.
유튜브의 주 콘텐츠는 한국 남성 혐오 및 서양 남성을 향한 찬양 성향을 드러내는 이야기들, VLOG 등이다. 가끔씩 BL 게임을 스트리밍으로 방송하기도 했는데 이 때문에 유튜브에서 선정성을 이유로 몇 차례 금지를 당해서 수위높은 방송은 페리스코프에서만 하였다. 플레이한 BL 게임 중 하나로는 어이쿠 왕자님이 있다
2017년 8월 6일, 왁싱숍 살인사건으로 인해 일부 페미니스트들이 강남역에서 '여성혐오 콘텐츠 반대 시위'를 벌이던 중 실시간 유튜브 스트리밍을 통해 강남역을 지나는 일반 남성 시민들을 도촬한 후 각종 욕설과 모욕을 퍼뜨린 사건이 발생했습니다. 심지어 여러 남성에게 직접 접근해 거절했음에도 불구하고 강제로 얼굴 사진을 찍고, 인터뷰를 요구하고 이를 거부하자 욕설을 하는 등의 만행을 저질렀습니다. 또한 한 커플이 지나가면 남성에게 욕설을 한 것은 물론, 한국 남성과 사귀고 있다는 이유로 여성에게도 욕설을 했습니다.
2017년 11월 19일 오후 4시 31분, 워마드 홈페이지에 '하용가젠신병자59'라는 닉네임을 쓰는 한 회원에 의해서 자신이 호주 남자아이를 성폭행했다고 주장하는 게시물이 올라왔다.
이 게시물은 곧 다른 워마드 회원들의 폭발적인 반응을 얻었는데, 워마드의 페미나치 특성상 당연히 수많은 회원들은 해당 글쓴이를 비판하기는커녕 오히려 부럽다고 하거나, 쇼린이 따먹어서 좋겠다는 등, 자신도 기(氣) 받아가고 싶다는 등 글쓴이의 정신 나간 행동을 추앙하는 듯한 댓글들을 남기고, 심지어는 이메일 주소를 올려서 영상을 공유해달라는 등의 댓글들을 남겼다. 몇몇 이메일은 가짜 이메일이었지만 실제 이메일을 단 사람도 더러 있었던 것으로 확인되었다. 4chan 라는 외국 커뮤니티에서는 이메일 주소를 트위터 아이디, 인스타그램 아이디와 대조하면서까지 신상을 털었다.
이 과정에서 게시물의 내용이 정말 실제로 있었던 일인가에 대한 여부가 주목되었는데, 결론을 말하자면 아이가 잠자고 있던 사진과 동영상 섬네일중 5개는 인터넷에서 퍼온 것 이지만 섬네일중 아이의 엉덩이가 찍힌 부분과, 성기가 찍힌 부분의 영상은 현재까지도 출처가 불분명하다.
잠자는 남자아이의 사진의 경우 단순히 인터넷에서 퍼온 사진임이 밝혀졌다. 2010년 10월 한 일본 웹사이트에 올라온 게시물 및 2011년 9월 한 외국 블로그에 올라온 게시물 등에서 원본 사진을 발견할 수 있다. 워마드 게시물에 첨부된 사진은 원본을 어둡게 한 뒤 좌우 반전한 것이다. 바탕 화면과 함께 찍힌 영상들의 경우, 2009년 올라왔던 Why You Should Not Fall Asleep Before your sister라는 한 유튜브 영상으로, 잠자고 있는 남동생에게 누나가 장난치는 영상에 불과하단 것이 밝혀졌다. 또한 스마트폰이나 카메라에서 영상, 사진이 저장되는 폴더명은 DCIM인데 문제의 워마드 글 스크린샷에서는 폴더명이 DMCI라고 오타나있는 점에서, 인터넷에서 퍼온 동영상을 마치 자신의 스마트폰에서 폴더를 그대로 옮겨놓은 것 처럼 위장하려다가 실수로 오타를 낸 것 같다.
하지만 당시만 해도 사람들은 게시물의 배후가 누구인지 알지 못했기 때문에 사람들은 파헤치기 시작했고, 곧 게시물의 배후가 이아름이라는 의혹을 갖기 시작했습니다. 과거 호주 소년이 도둑맞은 사진을 올리며 '밥 먹으러 누웠나', '호주 쇼린 보면 머리 잡아 감겨주고 싶다' 등의 트윗을 올린 바 있습니다.

첫 게시물이 올라온 지 이틀 후 아름의 집 문을 두드리기 시작했는데, 경찰이었고 라이브 스트리밍을 하고 있을 때 바로 경찰이 찾아왔습니다.

Instead of "Boards" they have "Galleries" and instead of Communities they have "Cafes", all of them work virtually the same as their Western counterpart. Keep these in mind since throughout this OP communities will be referred to as either Cafes or Galleries
I'm sure you've heard about the current gender war going on in Korea, I'm not going to bore you with the huge history of this issue since it's not really relevant here. The only thing you need to know for this section is that due to this gender conflict, the Korean Internet has been split into 2 sides of the issue, one website is male-orientated (DC Inside and Ilbe) and the other one is female-orientated (WOMAD and Megalia), both have extreme beliefs about the opposite sex
DC Inside and Ilbe are both Korean Forums that allow users anonymity, both have been heavily criticized for spreading "hate speech" and "far-right" ideology and often get called "4chan for Koreans", both have also suffered attempts at Internet censorship. As of right now, DC Inside remains to be the largest community in Korea while Ilbe has been losing users since 2017

In response to the backlash Jeon made a post in which she defended herself by claiming that child rape jokes were common in male spaces and she was not serious. This made people even more upset since she essentially said "Yeah I know what I did was wrong, but men do it a lot more"
In addition to this, Mudogal, an anonymous Korean journalist, has previously reported numerous obscene materials uploaded by Megalia members to the Korea Communications Commission. and a decision was made to delete some of them. Also, in the following, Megalia has been excluded from the search engines due to high-level adult posts, It is said that the National Police Agency and the Korea Communications Commission will also block it.

Many users have made posts claiming to have tried poisoning men using antifreeze which only fueled the fire of the gender conflict even further. With this kind of attitude, it was only a matter of time until someone actually tried to carry out an actual murder
In the early morning of June 3, 2019. a woman surnamed Lee (19) murdered her maternal grandmother surnamed Nam (78) by stabbing her with a weapon about 30 times in Dangjeong-dong, Gunpo-si.
While being a member of Womad, the perpetrator planned to kill a random man and commit suicide, but when the situation did not work out, he killed his maternal grandmother. Ms. Lee would later be sentenced to 25 years in prison, but the sentence was reduced to 17 years after the second ruling

At 4:31 pm on November 19th, 2017, a member with the nickname 'Hayong Gazen Recruit 59' posted a post claiming to have raped an Australian boy on WOMAD
This post soon received an explosive response from other Womad members, and naturally, given the nature of Womad, many members, rather than criticizing the writer, left comments that seemed to admire the writer's crazy behavior, such as saying they were jealous, wishing Shorin would eat them, and wanting to receive some of her energy too. Some even posted their email addresses and asked people to share the video. Some of the emails were fake, but it was confirmed that there were actually people who had sent real emails. 4chan even compared the email addresses with Twitter and Instagram IDs to dig up personal information.
In this process, attention was paid to whether the content of the post really happened. In conclusion, five of the thumbnails of photos and videos in which the child was sleeping were taken from the Internet, but among the thumbnails, part of the child's buttocks and genitals were taken. The source of the video that was filmed is still unknown to this day.
In the case of the picture of the sleeping boy, it turned out that it was simply a picture from the Internet. Original photos can be found in a post posted on a Japanese website in October 2010 and a post posted on a foreign blog in September 2011. The photo attached to the WOMAD post was reversed left and right after darkening the original. In the case of the videos taken with the background screen, it is a YouTube video called Why You Should Not Fall Asleep Before your sister uploaded in 2009. The Gapsin War was the first-ever Internet Slapfight between Korea and Japan that happened in 2004 and became a start for the extreme hatred Korean and Japan had for each other. The reason behind this war was due to Koreans found out that users of the Japanese's Imageboard 2ch (currently 5ch) were running an Internet site called ‘K-Korea’s Way ’ where they often criticize and fabricate information about Korea.
In response, the users of DC Inside created a site called ‘J-Korea’s Funny Way ’. The site itself was mostly just a huge butthurt cope post you'll see anywhere on the forums, but in any case, the relationship between the two countries on the Internet became difficult because of this.
Afterward, both countries carried out cyber attacks on each other's national holidays, and eventually, the Korean Internet community united to fight against 2ch leading to the 2010 Japan–South Korea cyber conflict where Korea made using 2ch completely unusable for a short period of time
The child rapist Conspiracy
At around 11 p.m. on July 9, 2015, at DC Inside's Infinite Challenge Gallery, a user named Dongnick (A term used to describe anonymous users of DC Inside) posted several photos of himself holding a knife and threatening to rape the 11-year-old daughter of a neighboring foreign worker.
At first, people treated this post as just another bait until July 9th, when Dongnick started to post IRL pictures with the same threats which made the users take his words more seriously
After a huge backlash, Dongnick posted a message saying that he would commit suicide and disappeared. Many theories arose from this, some people thought that this whole thing was a conspiracy done by members of the women's cafe "Women Generation" and MERS Gallery (A community dedicated to discussion of MERS disease that had been spreading in Korea at that).
It would be revealed 2 weeks later that Dongnick behind the posts was an infamous user Hellen Keller who had been sued for sexual harassment. They found out this by cross-referencing the photo posted with a different photo posted by Hellen
However, Kellen never saw any punishment for this since they couldn't prove in a court of law that Dongnick and Kellen were the same person. To this day, he's still active on the Internet under different aliases, it's still debated on whether or not he actually raped a child or did he just wanted to gain some attention

Zoophile Troll
On November 15, 2012, an article titled 'I just ate a puppy' was posted. In this post, along with a photo that looks like he is raping his dog, comments such as “Finally, my dog opened his heart and accepted me”, “I usually avoided it, but this time it was good (successful)”, and a certified photo was uploaded
The post on Ilbe was deleted in 30 minutes, but after the screenshots were already spread all over the place the article appeared. Ilbe became 'a group of human idiots who enjoy bestiality'. As a result of this incident, public opinion that Ilbe storage should be treated on the same level as Soranet, a porn site that hosted a wide variety of porn including rape and bestiality, was widely spread, and the keyword Ilbe = bestiality followed. This post turned out to be a troll, despite this the Ilbe reputation was hit pretty hard

People started speculating:
After the post became popular, A person named BJ Geompung actually visited the location mentioned in the note and broadcast it live on Afreeca TV, and a total of more than 10 Ilbe storage members gathered at the location. For reference, the time at the time was almost 4 am.
With this much attention from the public, the police started an investigation
It is said that the police investigated the inside of the house with the owner's consent, but found no criminal charges. According to the police's investigation, the note in question was that the woman had written down her home address while transcribing the contents of 'fluff' about organ trafficking that were circulating around her market. Police said the woman appeared to be so unsound that she had trouble holding a normal conversation.
When a police official asked, "Why did you write your home address on the note?", he spoke gibberish, saying, "A spirit came down to me, and I did what the spirit told me to do." As a result of the police investigation, the neighbors said that they all knew the woman as such a strange person.

2004년에 벌어진 대한민국과 일본의 첫 사이버 전쟁. 2ch(현 5ch)에 서식하던 혐한들이 대한민국에 대한 비난, 날조를 일삼는 인터넷 사이트 'K국의 방식'을 운영하던 게 대한민국에 알려지자 디시인사이드 등지에서는 '우스운 J국의 방식'이라는 사이트 를 만들었다.
사이트 자체는 전자나 후자나 진지먹고 비난하기보단 대충 그럴싸하게 까는 감정적, 원색적 수준으로 비방 수준이 형편없었고 좀 과장 섞어 말하자면 병맛이 강했지만 아무튼 이 때문에 이에 양국의 인터넷에서의 관계가 험악해졌다.
이후 양국은 서로의 국경일에 사이버 공격을 감행했고, 결국 한국 인터넷 커뮤니티는 단합하여 2ch에 대항하여 2010년 한일 사이버 분쟁으로 이어져 한국은 단기간 동안 2ch를 완전히 사용할 수 없게 되었습니다.
그 전에는 단순 어그로 취급을 받았으나 7월 9일에는 막상 사진이 올라오자 무도갤러 사이에서는 심각하게 여겨졌다.
한밤중에 밤길 사진을 올리면서 무도갤러들을 화나게 했다.
큰 반발이 일자 동닉은 자살하겠다는 글을 올린 후 잠적했습니다. 이를 두고 많은 설이 나왔고, 일각에서는 이 모든 것이 여성 카페 '여성시대'와 메르스 갤러리(당시 한국에서 확산되고 있던 메르스 질병에 대한 토론 전용 커뮤니티) 회원들의 음모라고 생각하기도 했습니다.
하지만 문제의 게시물이 올라온 지 2주가 지난 뒤 여린덕이라는 유저에게 성희롱을 하여 고소를 당한 고닉 극흑헬렌켈러 (당시 고닉 여린정리충)가 올린 아파트 사진과 강간모의 게시물을 올린 유동의 사진 속 아파트와 일치하는 것이 밝혀지고 이후 그 두 명이 동일인이라는 사실이 밝혀지며 사건은 마무리됐다.
하지만 Tor를 사용한 데다가 특정 아동을 대상으로 강간을 모의한 것이 아니라 무작위의 11살 아동을 강간하겠다고 게시글을 올렸고 헬렌켈러와 강간모의범이 동일인물인 것을 입증하지 못 했기 때문에 단순 어그로성으로 판단하고 고발 결과는 내사종결로 결론지어졌다. 해당 사건 이후에도 극흑헬렌켈러는 9년 째 디시인사이드 각지에서 활동하며 헬렌켈러 모독, 성희롱, 친일성향, 반사회적 게시글을 꾸준히 작성 및 개념글 조작하는 등 막장 행위를 전전하고 있다

수간 흉내 사건
2012년 11월 15일, ‘방금 강아지 따먹음’이라는 제목의 글이 올라왔다. 이 게시물에는 자신의 강아지를 성폭행하는 것처럼 보이는 사진과 함께, “드디어 우리 집 강아지가 마음을 열고 나를 받아줬다”, “평소에는 피했는데 이번에는 (성공해서) 좋았다”는 글, 그리고 인증 사진이 올라가 있었다.기사기사
일베로 올라간 게시물은 30분 만에 지워졌으나, 이미 각지에 스샷이 퍼지고 기사가 뜬 후. 일베는 '수간을 즐기는 인간말종 집단'이 되었다.이 사건으로 일베저장소를 소라넷과 동급으로 취급해야 하는 게 아니냐는 여론이 널리 퍼졌고, 일베=수간 이라는 키워드가 따라붙었다
그 결과 일베 운영자는 이 글을 온라인에 유포한 사람을 고소하겠다고 협박했고, 글 작성자는 피해자 행세를 하면서 대응하기로 했습니다.
BJ검풍이라는 인물이 쪽지 속에 나온 해당 장소를 실제로 찾아가고 그것을 아프리카TV로 생중계하였으며 해당 장소에 총 10명 이상의 일베저장소 회원들이 모였다. 참고로 당시 시간이 거의 새벽 4시에 가까웠다.
일부 인터넷 기사들도 이 사건을 주목했고 관할 경찰들은 기사를 통해 다음과 같은 내용을 전달했다.
경찰이 주인의 동의를 얻어 집 안까지 조사해 봤지만 범죄 혐의가 없었다고 한다. 경찰이 조사한 바에 따르면 문제가 된 해당 쪽지는 이 여성이 시중에 떠도는 장기밀매 관련 '찌라시' 내용을 옮겨 적으면서 자신의 집 주소를 쓴 것이었다고 한다. 경찰은 이 여성이 정상적인 대화가 어려울 만큼 정신이 온전하지 않아 보였다고 밝혔다.
경찰 관계자가 "쪽지에 왜 집 주소를 적었느냐"고 묻자 "나한테 신령이 내렸는데 그 신령이 시키는 대로 한 거다"라고 하는등 횡설수설을 하였다. 경찰이 조사한 결과 이웃 주민들도 해당 여성을 다 그런 이상한 사람으로 알고 있다고 말했다.
한마디로 이 여성은 정신이 온전한 여자가 아니며 인터넷상의 장기밀매와 관련된 여러 기사들을 혼합하여 쪽지에 적은 후 거기다 자신의 집 주소를 적어서 이 난리가 난 셈. 그런데 그 쪽지를 굳이 밖으로 들고 나와 지하철에서 해당 일베 회원에게 건넨 그 할아버지가 누구인지에 대해선 여전히 밝혀지지 않았다. 이는 경찰이 이 사건이 별 거 없는 사건이라고 판단하여 자세한 조사를 하지 않았기 때문이다.

일베저장소 크라임씬 세트장 인증 사건
2014년 6월 15일 16시 07분, 한 일베 회원이 아래 사진 두 장을 첨부하여 다음과 같은 글을 올렸습니다.이 글은 얼마 안 가 일베저장소 운영자에 의해 삭제되었지만 그 전에 이미 인터넷에서 캡쳐가 퍼져 순식간에 논란이 되어서 '일베 치킨 살인' 사건 등으로 불리게 되었다. 글쓴이는 글에서 '주작'임을 밝히며, 해당 사진이 실제 상황이 아닌 연출된 상황임을 암시했다. 다만 인터넷에서는 '일베 회원이 치킨을 먹던 도중 엄마와 말싸움이 붙어 화분으로 죽였다'라고 변질되어 퍼지기도 하였다. 결국 이 사건은 경찰 조사로까지 이어지게 되었다. 조사 결과 살인은 없었다는 결론이 나왔습니다.
그 결과 일베 운영자는 이 글을 온라인에 유포한 사람을 고소하겠다고 협박했고, 글 작성자는 피해자 행세를 하면서 대응하기로 했습니다.
일베 갈현동 떡밥 사건
일베저장소에 지하철에서 모르는 아재한테 수상한 쪽지받았다..jpg, 라는 글이 올라옴과 동시에 사건이 시작되었다.라는 글쓴이의 글과 함께 다음과 같은 사진이 첨부되었다.
댓글에서 추측이 시작되었습니다:
- 주소지는 갈현1동 281-**호. 갈현동은 몇 군데 더 존재하지만 정황상 은평구에 있는 갈현동으로 추정됨. 성지순례도 그쪽에서 이뤄졌으며 애초에 은평구 갈현동을 제외하면 모두 법정동 이름이라 갈현1동이란 명칭이 없다.
- 쪽지에는 2층에 조사반, 경찰, 군인등이 있다고 했다.
- 경X라는 사람이 쪽지에서 언급됨.
- 갈현1동 281-**호는 허벌하우스라는 건강식품가공업 업체임. (갈현1동 281-59호는 분명히 연립주택이다.)
- 허벌하우스의 대표자는 고경X로 쪽지에 언급된 경X라는 사람과 이름이 일치한다.
- 2012년 갈현동의 금은방에서 금 매입자 중 고경X라는 사람이 존재한다.
BJ검풍이라는 인물이 쪽지 속에 나온 해당 장소를 실제로 찾아가고 그것을 아프리카TV로 생중계하였으며 해당 장소에 총 10명 이상의 일베저장소 회원들이 모였다. 참고로 당시 시간이 거의 새벽 4시에 가까웠다.
- BJ검풍과 일베 회원이 조사한 결과 지하1층에서 고무장갑과 라텍스장갑(정황상 염색용 장갑 또는 수술용 장갑)이 발견되었다.
- 반지하층 (지하1층)의 창문이 빠루로 뜯긴 흔적이 있다. (경미해서 작정하고 뜯으려고 했던 건지는 알 수 없다.)
- 거기다 덤으로 어떤 일베 회원은 해당 집 주소로 햄버거 허위 배달까지 시켜서 해당 햄버거집과 집주인에게 쌍으로 민폐를 끼쳤다.
일부 인터넷 기사들도 이 사건을 주목했고 관할 경찰들은 기사를 통해 다음과 같은 내용을 전달했다.
경찰이 주인의 동의를 얻어 집 안까지 조사해 봤지만 범죄 혐의가 없었다고 한다. 경찰이 조사한 바에 따르면 문제가 된 해당 쪽지는 이 여성이 시중에 떠도는 장기밀매 관련 '찌라시' 내용을 옮겨 적으면서 자신의 집 주소를 쓴 것이었다고 한다. 경찰은 이 여성이 정상적인 대화가 어려울 만큼 정신이 온전하지 않아 보였다고 밝혔다.
경찰 관계자가 "쪽지에 왜 집 주소를 적었느냐"고 묻자 "나한테 신령이 내렸는데 그 신령이 시키는 대로 한 거다"라고 하는등 횡설수설을 하였다. 경찰이 조사한 결과 이웃 주민들도 해당 여성을 다 그런 이상한 사람으로 알고 있다고 말했다.
한마디로 이 여성은 정신이 온전한 여자가 아니며 인터넷상의 장기밀매와 관련된 여러 기사들을 혼합하여 쪽지에 적은 후 거기다 자신의 집 주소를 적어서 이 난리가 난 셈. 그런데 그 쪽지를 굳이 밖으로 들고 나와 지하철에서 해당 일베 회원에게 건넨 그 할아버지가 누구인지에 대해선 여전히 밝혀지지 않았다. 이는 경찰이 이 사건이 별 거 없는 사건이라고 판단하여 자세한 조사를 하지 않았기 때문이다.

아동 성희롱 및 비하 사건
메갈리아 회원 전선미가 자기 집 바로 옆 공원의 어린 남자아이들을 '좆린이', '핑크좆'으로 칭해 성적으로 비하하며 "먹고 싶다", "좆을 공략하고 싶다", "좆세워서 교육 시켜주고 싶다"와 같이 외설적이고 음란한 표현을 써서 아동과 성관계를 맺고 싶다 또는 아동을 강간하고 싶다는 욕구를 적나라하게 드러낸 내용의 글을 쓴 사건이다. 아니? 성기 크기가 작아서 불만일 땐 언제고 한 일베 회원이 세이브메갈을 이용해서 다른 글을 본 결과 놀랍게도 글을 쓴 회원은 병설 유치원 교사였던 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이 회원의 신상이 네티즌들에 의해 노출되고 있었기에 일이 커질 수 있었다.
반발이 거세지자 전 씨는 남성 공간에서 아동 강간 농담은 흔한 일이며 자신은 심각하지 않다고 주장하며 자신을 변호하는 글을 올렸습니다. 이는 본질적으로 “내가 한 행동이 잘못되었다는 것을 알지만 남자들이 훨씬 더 많이 한다”고 말한 것이기 때문에 사람들을 더욱 화나게 했습니다.
메갈리아 회원들의 음란물 유포
한 메갈리아 회원이 남자아이의 성기 사진 게시와 성희롱을 한 것으로 드러나 충격을 주었다. 해당 아동의 정확한 나이는 알 수 없으나 문제의 사진에서의 피부 상태와 털의 유무로 보아 10대 정도로 추정된다.이 외에도 무도갤에서는 이전부터 방통위 등에 메갈리아 회원들이 올린 수많은 음란물들을 신고를 하였고, 그 중 몇몇 개는 삭제되기로 결정이 내려졌다. 또한 다음에서는 메갈리아가 수위가 높은 성인게시물들로 인해서 검색 제외 상태가 된 상태이며, 경찰청과 방통위에서도 차단 예정이라고 한다.
폭행 옹호
2015년 11월 29일 19:00경 메갈리아 사이트에 한 회원이 남자 초등학생을 폭행했다는 게시글이 등록되었습니다. 글에 따르면 이 회원은 남자 초등학생이 길거리에서 다른 여성의 외모를 '예쁘다', '못생겼다'고 평가하자 격분해 남자 초등학생을 무릎으로 가격하고 달아났다고 합니다. 댓글에 참여한 메갈리아 회원들은 압도적인 추천 수로 이러한 범죄 행위를 옹호하는 데 동조하는 모습을 보였습니다.
살인 방법 가이드 배포 & 군포 묻지마 살인 사건
워마드 회원들은 에틸렌글리콜 독살 등 다양한 살인 방법에 대한 가이드를 담은 게시물을 작성해 악명을 떨쳤습니다. 부동액으로 남성을 독살하려 했다는 게시물을 올린 사용자도 많아 성별 갈등의 불씨를 더욱 키웠습니다. 이런 태도라면 누군가 실제 살인을 시도하는 것은 시간 문제였습니다.
2019년 6월 3일 새벽, 군포시 당정동에서 이 모 씨(19)라는 여성이 남 모 씨(78)라는 외할머니를 흉기로 30여 차례 찔러 살해한 사건이 발생했습니다.
가해자는 워마드 회원으로 활동하던 중 무작위 남성을 살해하고 자살할 계획을 세웠으나 뜻대로 되지 않자 외할머니를 살해했다. 이 씨는 이후 징역 25년을 선고받았으나 2심 판결 이후 형량이 17년으로 감형됐다.

이아름은 WOMAD와 메갈리아의 회원인 레즈비언 급진 페미니스트 유튜버로, 어린 소년에게 수면제를 먹인 후 강간하고 CP를 만들기 위해 녹화 중이라는 내용의 게시물을 올렸다가 체포된 바 있습니다.'하늘이'라는 이름의 말티즈를 키우고 있었다. 원래부터 워마드 유저였으며 2017년 5월부터 본격적인 유튜브 활동을 시작했다. 초반에는 '한국남자'의 단어를 재배열한 '한남국자'라는 이름으로 유튜브를 시작했다. 그 과정에서 워마드의 남성혐오 유튜버 모임 연합인 레드필의 멤버로 참가하게 된다. 유튜브 계정이 삭제될 때마다 부계정을 만들었는데, 부계정들도 번번히 삭제되자 아예 계정을 여러 개 만들어 놓는 식으로 회피하였다. 2017년 7월 26일에 처음으로 얼굴을 공개하였다.
유튜브의 주 콘텐츠는 한국 남성 혐오 및 서양 남성을 향한 찬양 성향을 드러내는 이야기들, VLOG 등이다. 가끔씩 BL 게임을 스트리밍으로 방송하기도 했는데 이 때문에 유튜브에서 선정성을 이유로 몇 차례 금지를 당해서 수위높은 방송은 페리스코프에서만 하였다. 플레이한 BL 게임 중 하나로는 어이쿠 왕자님이 있다
2017년 8월 6일, 왁싱숍 살인사건으로 인해 일부 페미니스트들이 강남역에서 '여성혐오 콘텐츠 반대 시위'를 벌이던 중 실시간 유튜브 스트리밍을 통해 강남역을 지나는 일반 남성 시민들을 도촬한 후 각종 욕설과 모욕을 퍼뜨린 사건이 발생했습니다. 심지어 여러 남성에게 직접 접근해 거절했음에도 불구하고 강제로 얼굴 사진을 찍고, 인터뷰를 요구하고 이를 거부하자 욕설을 하는 등의 만행을 저질렀습니다. 또한 한 커플이 지나가면 남성에게 욕설을 한 것은 물론, 한국 남성과 사귀고 있다는 이유로 여성에게도 욕설을 했습니다.
이 과정에서 게시물의 내용이 정말 실제로 있었던 일인가에 대한 여부가 주목되었는데, 결론을 말하자면 아이가 잠자고 있던 사진과 동영상 섬네일중 5개는 인터넷에서 퍼온 것 이지만 섬네일중 아이의 엉덩이가 찍힌 부분과, 성기가 찍힌 부분의 영상은 현재까지도 출처가 불분명하다.
잠자는 남자아이의 사진의 경우 단순히 인터넷에서 퍼온 사진임이 밝혀졌다. 2010년 10월 한 일본 웹사이트에 올라온 게시물 및 2011년 9월 한 외국 블로그에 올라온 게시물 등에서 원본 사진을 발견할 수 있다. 워마드 게시물에 첨부된 사진은 원본을 어둡게 한 뒤 좌우 반전한 것이다. 바탕 화면과 함께 찍힌 영상들의 경우, 2009년 올라왔던 Why You Should Not Fall Asleep Before your sister라는 한 유튜브 영상으로, 잠자고 있는 남동생에게 누나가 장난치는 영상에 불과하단 것이 밝혀졌다. 또한 스마트폰이나 카메라에서 영상, 사진이 저장되는 폴더명은 DCIM인데 문제의 워마드 글 스크린샷에서는 폴더명이 DMCI라고 오타나있는 점에서, 인터넷에서 퍼온 동영상을 마치 자신의 스마트폰에서 폴더를 그대로 옮겨놓은 것 처럼 위장하려다가 실수로 오타를 낸 것 같다.
하지만 당시만 해도 사람들은 게시물의 배후가 누구인지 알지 못했기 때문에 사람들은 파헤치기 시작했고, 곧 게시물의 배후가 이아름이라는 의혹을 갖기 시작했습니다. 과거 호주 소년이 도둑맞은 사진을 올리며 '밥 먹으러 누웠나', '호주 쇼린 보면 머리 잡아 감겨주고 싶다' 등의 트윗을 올린 바 있습니다.

첫 게시물이 올라온 지 이틀 후 아름의 집 문을 두드리기 시작했는데, 경찰이었고 라이브 스트리밍을 하고 있을 때 바로 경찰이 찾아왔습니다.
