Personally, I don’t know what the world would look like had the South prevailed,
a lot like mexico, where the states have more power and the federal government barely exists and can't handle shit like indian attacks or gangs that effectively. And thats not getting into the north being full of vengeful faggots who would keep going to war until eventually the south lost. Industrialization means the north would have won at some point. That's not getting into stuff like westward expansion and how the union would have probably continued allowing fugitive slave stuff to happen regardless of whatever treaties are signed. plus stuff like immigration policy means any war would end up similar to how it did in real life, the union keeps importing people to press into service and they win by attrition.
even if the south's plan "worked" the over reliance on cotton led to an economic depression in the 1880s-1930s, which is why the "great migration" happened in the 1910s. By all accounts the South would still end up back in the union and without any real economic activity until post-ww2 econommic gains no matter who won the civil war.
