Florida is full of Haitians esp since they had some crisis a couple years ago and got some kind of official refugee status to come to the States.

No one hates Haitians more than Dominicans, followed closely by every other group of Latinos. Florida is full of Cubans, Dominicans etc.

My guess is that the shift is mostly about migration. Followed closely by Israel because elderly NYC Jews tend to retire to Florida.
