propanolol is a beta blocker that is very commonly prescribed to actors/politicians that have bad nerves when they have big speeches to give them a calmer demeanor, it slows heart rate and lowers blood pressure and helps mask the physical symptoms of anxiety.
if you're on a beta blocker like this AND add any alcohol, you get drunker WAY quicker and act really dopey. i think she's on a low dose and combining it with alcohol and uppers for when she starts taking eyes-open naps during the day. i think thats what she's been doing for the whole campaign
