I was just a kid then, but seeing people lose their shit over him was bizarre and funny to me. I would look for rolling stone magazine so I could see whatever pissy tantrum they posted that week that ultimately was over nothing. Bush was just a boring, empty suit who didn’t drink, went to bed at 9, woke up at 6, and painted. What was there to be so mad about with him?

But they were correct about Cheney being a creepy merchant of death. Plus the state department lied about the WMDs so they could get more military contracts and to “set up” Bush as incompetent. Never ever trust unelected bureaucrats.
