Agreed. And they're getting too cute lately with all these super duper close presidential elections. Even Obama/Romney, the overall % was like 51% to 47%. If they had any sense, they'd make this one a semi-blowout for realism sake.dude the people freaking out that not voting = voting for kamala completely do not understand why i don't vote.
I do not believe the system exists. The electoral system of the United States is a collective hallucination. I do not believe that there a single direct correlation between the physical act of voting and the numbers that are tallied. Every single electronic vote is discarded without being written to memory, identical to how voting down a comment on YouTube triggers no network event and is just an illusion on your screen that makes you feel better. Every single paper ballot is burned.
I'm not exaggerating. It's not a joke. I do not believe that there is a single vote in the United States that is counted towards electing a candidate. Every single "My Vote Counted" sticker is a lie. There is no genuine connection between the ballot and the results of the election.
Instead, turnout is counted, and turnout represents approval of the status quo and the system. They do count these votes and do account for fraud when counting them. This is the vote that actually decides if policy meaningfully changes: the binary action of voting. In 2020, 66% of the US voted. This is 66% of the US population telling the Federal Government they support the continued existence of the Federal Government, and that they believe democracy works. I was a part of the third of the US that does not believe that. I do not believe in the US Federal Government and I believe the sooner it collapses, the better. So, I indicate this to the government by not voting.
No, but you get the idea.It took you 5 minutes to read that short post?
It's actually pretty incredible. From 1992-2016, Florida was the most hotly-contested swing state. From 1996-2016, so went Florida, so went the country.
The fact that it's now reliably ~R+6 or thereabouts is amazing. Seems to also be trending more and more red, as well.
Here's what I don't get. If the polls have democrats leading its to depress republican turnout. If the polls have republicans leading its to get republicans comfortable enough to not vote. So what is the solution?
What do you have to lose by voting? 20ish minutes of your time???? what does this have to do with not voting in a system that doesn't exist?
Anyone else feel a slowdown when trying to post ? would make sense given today
And unless the Trump campaign has a backup plan for this, they are going to lose PA hard. Dems have outsmarted them two elections in a row and are about to do it a third time. They're already rigging things in PA by doing this, not everyone who voted is going to have time to stay in line all they, they have their jobs to do unless they want to starve to death. This is exactly why I voted early
Not Trump supporters.Anyone can take five minutes out of their day to read four brief paragraphs.
Its great that Florida used to be a swing state and now is more red than TexasLive florida voting statistics for anyone who's hungry as fuck.

SS-Ordenstaat Florida helping Trump get the fucking bag, I love the fact its not a Purple State anymore

Accountability, probably. My real question is whether it's now just a total idee fixe or if there's anything that could challenge the belief.
I'm pretty sure your job can't just you know, fire you if you say you were late because you were in line to vote. at least in my state they're required to let you vote without punishmentThey're already rigging things in PA by doing this, not everyone who voted is going to have time to stay in line all they, they have their jobs to do unless they want to starve to death. We should choose our president by footrace(This is the fastest woman I could find on the Florida Pres. Ballot.)
Fair enough, but if you think they're lying about the candidate vote distributions, then why would you believe they're reporting the turnout accurately?I'm not exaggerating. It's not a joke.
