One thing about the Rogan-Vance interview that I haven't seen anyone mention yet is around an hour and 20 minutes in, Vance reveals that the same tech backdoors that glowies use to monitor regular citizens was used by Chinese hackers to get into Vance's and Trump's phones.

I wonder if this will disrupt glowie surveillance overall.

Crazy! It just 'glitched' 29 times.
What do you think would cause more seething - Donny winning by electoral college again ("Drumpf got cheated into office once again!") or by popular vote ("half our coutry are dang dirty fascists!")?
Republican presidents basically never win the popular vote. The last one to win that was probably Reagan vs Walter Mondale and I wouldn't even be surprised if he somehow lost that despite sweeping the EC. The Democrats at this point just take for granted that the popular vote will always be theirs (which is why they often push for removing the EC because it's racist). They always win it through a combination of ballot stuffing and metropolitan areas being overwhelmingly Democrat. So if Trump takes the popular vote, even if he loses the electoral vote - but especially if he wins both - it will infuriate them on a whole new level. People get mad when you don't give them what they think they're entitled to.
Clinton recently visited Michigan to stump for Harris, and while there he touched upon the war in gaza. Here is what Mehdir Hasan (the muslim beeper guy on CNN) has to say about it:

I wonder how this will affect Michigan?

Insane that Bill Clinton is telling the truth for some reason.

Anyway, my dooming continues. If they're catching massive cheating already like this, the scope of the cheat is likely unprecedented. I expect a big Kamala win.

I don’t sorry. Could it happen sure but I think Elon is shinning a light on these vampires that they can’t be pulling any more bullshit.

In the topic of chances, I’ve never in my adult life seen a Republican ahead in the polls, nor have an early voting advantage. I don’t know what to make of it. It’s uncharted territory.

Edit: What I can say is what the Kamalaaaa supporters are saying sounds and feels a lot like the cope I heard in 2008, 2012, and a little in 2020. “She’s not THAT behind in the polls, the real voters will turn out on Election Day just for her, etc etc.” The frustration with the candidate/surrogates, finger pointing, constantly changing angles of attack, and perpetually being on the defense comes off like they’re extremely worried and subconsciously know they’re losing. I felt the way they felt in 08/2012 and look how that turned out.
Again, Trump is far ahead in most of the polls, far better than in 2016

I'm fairly confident in Trump winning barring some shenanigans

I know. I'm quoting directly what was written. The person who said that is a lunatic.
Hasan isn't saying that Trump is pro-Muslim (this is indicated by the fact that "Pro-Muslim" is immediately followed by a "(!)"). He's saying that the Democrats response to Muslim voter's anger over the Gaza war is so bad that Trump comes across as Pro-Muslim in comparison to them.

Dubya won the popular vote in 2004.

It's a bit shitposty but he's so spot on. The Republican hand wringing about Hunter was so tiresome. After a while it came off like people were just jealous they couldn't smoke crack and fuck hookers.
I think it's that plus MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE it's a catholic thing "hate the sin not the sinner" too.

Remember when NYC claimed it was getting fucked, Trump sent a navy hospital ship and they refused to use it?
In my part of Kiwi Land, I believe the Feds rented out space in two large halls and converted the space into overflow treatment rooms for COVID patients. One place was barely used at 1/4 to 1/3 capacity at its peak and the other wasn't used at all for about 4-6 months before the government opted to stop paying rent and pull out of both locations. Even though the overflow capacity was grossly underutilized and not necessary, the media did everything to overhype the daily case and death numbers during this time period.

I wonder how this will affect Michigan?
Very negligible at best, I suspect. The Vote Blue No Matter Who folks (i.e. the unions and minorities) will still vote for Kamala. Red folks will still vote for Trump. And those on the fence will likely remain unpersuaded by either major candidate.

The rig is too big this year. Surprise ballots will flood Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Ohio while the voting machines in secure red states will chip away at the popular vote either by someone changing the count or the code doing it automatically. Pointing it out and doing nothing won’t win Republicans the race unless if their goal is to cry for 4 more years.

If you want to stop the steal then do something about it.

How did you become so prematurely pessimistic?

You're free to try to guess his hidden intentions all you want, I'm going with the most obvious interpretation of what he actually wrote.
Even if what you said were to be true, there's a million better ways to say than the way he did. He's a moron no matter how you slice it.

The idea that Muslims are just going to "Vote Blue No Matter Who" is a bit odd given that Trump is actually leading Harris among Muslim voters, and there is a campaign by Muslim voters that explicitly wants to punish Harris (and the Democrats more generally) over the Gaza war.

Unpopular opinion: I think I like JD more than Trump at this point. Still love The Donald but I'm kinda tired of the constant "We had the best; We did the best" in every interview. JD has done a much better job meeting propaganda head on and breaking it down. Hope he follows through.
got a bit tired of that till it hit me he rarely say "I" or "me".
it's essentially a compliment, or team-building exercise to look at it this way. anyone who voted for him back then, or worked for him etc is included in that. just like "best country in the world" basically includes every american, even the ones spitting on your flag.

another thing I noticed afterwards is no one really talks that way anymore (I don't mean how trumps talks, but "we are best at X" or something). it all feels like some lame participation trophy shit being scared someone gets sad he's not included or offended about "you think you're better than me?!". especially from a politician who is literally working for your country you'd expect that, but no, you have to hear it from a showman/business mogul.

So John Green's cancer-infected brother is claiming that Elon is believing lies now.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=3u8_fp1TtJE

He's so full of shit himself.

1. Oh no, Elon believed a screenshot of a fake article and made a 1 short sentence and an emoji comment on it. Arrest him immediately!

2. I don't quite understand the explanation, but Biden has been fucking the economy up anyway and plenty of people have said they're going to leave Trump with a big problem to deal with. So hardly a "lie" being believed.

3. Elon was asking a question, therefore trying to find out more information. So only "believing" in the sense that he took the general information at face value at first. But so what?

4. Nazis (proper ones, not necessarily some neo-nazis) ARE socialists you lying fuck. Unless you argue they weren't pure socialists but then has any country been pure socialist? (At least anytime in modern history. Maybe thousands of years ago some were.) Because pure socialism would require the entire population to voluntarily give up all property rights and have everything they own and create redistributed equally. It would also require either no government or pure democracy to be the form of government. But then how can you have pure democracy if everything has to be redistributed equally? Because that would include votes. You couldn't have a policy getting more yes votes than no votes, that wouldn't be equal.

5. The quote wasn't really taken out of context as that was the sentiment of the article. It was a whole load of cope. So Elon wasn't "believing lies", if he was he'd agree with the quote and the article, not disagree. Although he wasn't actually agreeing or disagreeing with the quote in the screenshot anyway. He was replying to someone saying the average man is stronger than 99.9% of women. He replied "That's a big difference!" as in there is a big difference between the average strength of men and women. Which is true not a lie.

6. It doesn't matter how the formation of government works in Austria, PeterSweden's tweet was stating the facts and Elon wasn't wrong in his reply. Hank doesn't know whether or not Elon knows how governments are formed in Austria, he just assumed he didn't because he didn't agree with Elon's opinion.

7. Well he must be admitting this one is true since he claimed Elon only believed 6 lies and doesn't refute the tweet Elon replied to. (And Elon's reply was just a stick of dynamite emoji. Why is he crying over it?)
