Do I have some info for you guys.
This is a throw away account for obvious reasons.
Fist of all shout out to this forum for making this info publicly available. I am from Milwaukee, I grew up there and come from a family with a decent amount of connections in the city. I've literally stood in the same room as this guy. I'll hesitate saying more for the sake of anonymity, but looking at some of the images in this thread is tough. I was looking him up for something totally unrelated and I found this page on google a few pages in. I have been losing my Mc-fucking MIND after reading through all of this. I'm thoroughly involved in the bird and exotic/rescue communities in Wisconsin and specifically Milwaukee. As far as I know he still practices here and just recently I saw a very popular rescue displaying an informational pamphlet for him as a vet.
I've known this guy from a very far distance since like 2012. He's always given me the creeps tbh, he was always TOO into birds; but I wrote it off as him just being socially awkward and having a real passion for his job etc.
I literally joined the forum for the sake of commenting here.
This seriously messes me up, I've even had an ex girlfriend that was in the furry community as well and I was cool with it , but this is a whole new level of w t f. I'm not sure if any of you work with birds, but even the smaller ones have incredibly advanced intelligence. I had a like 3-4 inch tall bird ( not counting the tail) that knew all of his fruits and colors by heart, as well as basic problem solving and communication. He would literally tell my dog that someone we knew was coming to the door before he could see them, since he would sit in the window and watch my parking lot, so he could watch the dog go down and bark at them. They have the mindset of a little child. It's absolutely gross that someone this involved in the field is doing something like this.
Seriously thank you guys for taking the time to compile this and for refusing to take the information down after facing threats. And especially for posting the copyright claims publicly. That's honestly one of the grossest parts. Ya'll are fighting the good fight. I will definitely keep the forum updated if I can. It might have taken a while but this is hopefully going to make it to the right people finally. If anyone has a better compilation of this other than me taking screen shots of everything and saving them in microsoft paint like the computer illiterate person I am, let me know lol.
