His name is James Timpson and he's a darling of the left, he runs a lock-picking business where he hires ex-convicts to "give them a second chance". Yes, he teaches cons how to pick locks. Wonder how popular his appointment will be now.

I think it's worth mentioning that the UK government has the powers to use the very same lockdown orders from the covid pandemic if it gets REALLY bad for them.
One of the many reasons the tories were hated was because of such a heavy handed and malicious approach to the lockdown. Of course it would be career suicide for Keir Starmer to pull such a move. No one is going to be clapping out their windows every Tuesday for some sort of Summer of Discontent unlawful protest lockdown... And such a move would accelerate this shit beyond imagination. But the point is he *could* if he wanted to.
I kinda hope he does. It would make this shit way more funny.
People are already being stopped and attacked by police under section 60 powers. The likelihood of local curfews as a preventative measure increases by the day. It's clear to anyone with eyes that the force of the law is heavily one sided against the people protesting while the gangs of muslims wielding knives and getting into scraps with the native population are being outright protected. We have seen over 20 years of the powers that be treating the native British people like scum. All the while the authoritarian and downright insidious government powers have only expanded and continue to get more draconian. Power should be wielded like a sword, it stays in its scabbard until it is needed, but the double standard has been out in the open for too long. People literally feel they have nothing to loose. I honestly can't say what the Labour government's next move is... But overreacting and going full retard over yobbos burning a couple of Greggs and consequentially causing all out Britbong war is certainly not off the table.
If it looks rough now. Imagine what it'll look like when the retards who only won the election because the other side was somehow even more retarded are forced to respond to their first real taste of civil unrest. You just know they're sweatting and praying it'll stop on its own. It won't... People are pissed. Any move the government can make now will likely backfire.

And we all know it's an empty threat regarding prison time, they've already had to crunch the numbers to a ridiculous degree to agree on 10% of prisoners getting out earlier. They can't cut it down to 30% or 20% or you'll start to see very dangerous people on the streets.
What the government doesn't seem to realise is that the people who are kicking off now aren't actually the main threat, they're pissed off whites where some might have a criminal record or two but nothing major and these people aren't going to be stringing up niggers from lampposts. They're not going to be stamping on police officers heads until they're dead. Put these guys in prison at the expense of skinhead Jonny who crippled a Paki and you'll see a much more dangerous wave of protesting.
