Everyone on the east coast thinks they're Italian and thinks authentic Italian food is spaghetti with maranara. When he says "I'm Italian" it just means to a normal person "I'm part Italian" and when he says "Authentic Italian" he means "Americanized slop". I still cannot get over that this dumbass moved to Seattle proper to avoid income tax, and not even using my favorite example (Wyoming), he could have picked New Hampshire, also with no income tax and less in sales tax. Plus, Seattle is like top 5 in cost of living if you're looking at metro areas.

I still am of the belief he moved out there to Washington was to get away from his parents. They must've said something that bothered him, besides spending money like it was going out of style, and I do remember they brought up the issue of his spending when they went to his mature adult condo in Bridgeport and expressed concern for his spending. Keep in mind, he was spending money like a 90's rapper and he thought he was always going to be on top.

Yep, like I said a few pages back. You can tell that Phil hates his parents secretly but pretends to love them. This is what I've pieced together form listening to all the wpig restreams

1)Linda sounds like a helicopter mom and Dave sounds like your typical boomer who wants to go to work to get away from the family he hates being around.
2)Linda smoked like a chimney and Phil has autism which would make him hate the smell.
3)Phil knew the area they lived in was shitty and Dave could've easily have moved them somewhere nicer/whiter but didn't.
4)Phil mentioned that during high school apparently Dave and Linda were going to get divorced and Phil freaked out at them cause he thought they were fighting over him. Apparently the divorce never happened (see 1)
5)Phil's parents (maybe just Linda) didn't want Phil doing the FGC tournament circuit cause he would be wasting time and money (she wasn't wrong). He freaked out over this as well.
6)Phil's parents adopted Phil's cousin and took care of her. Phil probably viewed this as cutting into his me, me, reeeee time. I think it's speculated that the wolverine doll incident might've happened around this time and they didn't buy it cause money would've been tight.
7)Speaking of that, the wolverine doll. Phil was spoiled rotten as he seemed to have every toy, game, and console. He doesn't respect how spoiled he was and took everything small as a major slight against him.

He moved away so that he didn't have to deal with them and to spite them. Phil's just waiting for them die so he can sell the snortfort and inherit their house and live relatively low expense. I hope that Linda passes first, then Dave grows a spine and gives the house to the sister-cousin or donates it.

Yeah my concusses has been Phil HATES his father and begrudges the mother. Linda gives off Jew mom energy and Dave even early on in his channel has shown a really odd energy to her, parts contempt but "love" but I think its down to edaphus complex tbh. As with the father he blatantly only contacts him for money but over the years Dave has clearly been more outspoken and will say no to him. The fish image is proof of this as he expected Dave to bend over and send away. I think too Linda offloads Phil's calls to Dave now as proof of the fish image, he called Linda and she said call your father. Phil is also preying that they never go to a home because that will money will get eaten up in years. He only keeps them around for the will but it is not as big as he thinks it is. I have always thought they regard Melissa as their successful child, as Phil hinted his adoptive sibling is still close with the parents.

I always view Dave as a victim in this, Linda sounds insufferable and full of insecurities and she implanted them all on Phil very early on. Dave during Phil's early years had an affair as did Linda but this was when Phil was in the early teens. You have to think Phil inherited his negative qualities from somewhere and its probably Linda.

Authentic Italian sauce does actually use sugar in it. It's used in southern Italian cooking to balance out the unripe tomatoes they use to balance out the acidic taste of them. It wasn't that much sugar though, it was about a pinch per tomato. He had the right idea, but was wrong because Ragu (or whatever he used) doesn't use unripe tomatoes, and he used way too much sugar.
