I'm curious how people think the tattoo was faked. Not saying it wasn't, it's boogie after all. But the actual process of faking it itself. Boogie's clearly bleeding at multiple points
And with every pass the letters get darker, and his face is visibly discolored in the area the tattoo is being applied
Was the tattoo artist in on it, throwing fake blood on boogie's face in a slight of hand? What was the stuff going into boogie's face turning it a darker color? It could be fake of course, but I think boogie is just a retard and did something retarded in the spur of the moment. This is the same guy who on a whim bought a $5,000 dog to impress a sugar baby, then she left soon after and he got stuck with the dog and now he hates it. If anyone's stupid enough to do this it's boogs.

I did a thread search to see if this was mentioned regarding the tattoo, and didn't find anything. Apologies if it was mentioned, and I missed it.
This is probably a tattoo with "ephemeral ink". They're a weird trend now, but it's a tattoo done with ink that's specifically meant to fade and disappear over a couple of years. Would also make sense that he might have to go to Little Rock to get one, instead of any old tattoo shop in the town he lives in - it would be a more specialized request. Would also explain why a reputable shop would be more willing to do a face tattoo if it isn't meant to be permanent, because it's "ephemeral ink".
But don't worry - he'll probably still need to get it lasered off. People have been finding out the hard way that their "temporary" tattoos aren't as temporary as advertised, and laser removal is apparently significantly more painful than the original tattoo.

I dont doubt that boogie has some form of PTSD, that shit is very common in fat little chubbers like him, especially since most of his schooling was done in the 80s when bullies could still be bullies. But a common practice of addicts and of compulsive liars alike is to exaggerate that suffering to gain more sympathy. im sorry if this has already been pointed out, and its not a defense of boogie, but it does put his behavior into perspective.

I have seen Boogie lie so many times it is just more likely that this is a sham or a trick than that it is real.

I absolutely second this. If Ian Johma is in Beauty Parlor and not Internet Famous, why can't Boogie be in Deathfats instead of grift wars? I mean obviously a big reason he's there is because he shares his thread with Anisa, but I think my point still stands. And it would make Boogie seethe which is always a good thing.

ETA: theorycrafting - Boogie made sporadic plans to move to Branson the night he threatened suicide in front of Dezi. I bet you she freaked out and said she wanted to go home and Boogie said "oh no baby let us move closer that way you can be with both of us" or some shit. As I stated, anything that happens IRL due to Boogie wasting first responder time/resources because he wants to threaten suicide for fun is Keem's fault as well. It's not funny when real life problems are being created, all Boogie has learned from this is it's okay for him to threaten suicide/fake cancer/do crypto scams and he'll never have to face consequences for it. This is beyond ridiculous and needed to stop years ago when he got his first welfare check.
You'd think after 4 welfare checks in two weeks you'd stop suicide baiting, nah Boogie doesn't give a fuck. He knows at this point after his tenth or so welfare check nothing will happen to him, and he is completely okay with wasting first responder time and resources.
Anyone getting the body cam footage/911 calls? Interested in how he was able to get the cops to go away.

That's what I suspect. Ephemeral ink is still a niche right now, and it makes total sense that he'd have to go to a major city to get it done. Though I don't see Little Rock listed on Ephemeral's website.

They might not have their website updated if someone at the shop is just trying it out first - which I can see being a thing. A lot of artists will test products before they decide they want to make it a regular thing for their shop. It also might involve slightly different technique than a permanent tattoo - less depth, smaller needles, or something which combined with super fat might lessen immediate irritation.
I think this would explain the time frame as well. These ephemeral tattoos are supposed to last three years max, and be noticeably faded after two. Easy to explain the fading with "it's been two years, so I can start laser now."
ETA: Also, while Keem and Boogie are Boomers, they're both dating women young enough to be in to tiktok. This type of tattoo has been all over tiktok.

I noticed this on rewatch as well. Boogie says that HE shaved that day for the tattoo, and he has his stupid fucking goatee sure.. but every single tattoo I've ever had/seen done the tattoo artist shaves the specific area to be tattooed themselves right before the process of applying/drawing the stencil.
Obviously this is so it's as close a shave as possible to work on, I've never ever seen an artist accept someone else having shaved earlier that day. Maybe some trashy backyard scratcher might, but no half-decent shop tattooist. I also found it kinda odd we never got a clear view of the artist's sterilized workstation?
Surely they knew that people would be calling fake, right? The fact that they didn't really make a real specific effort to show EVERYTHING and like a super close up of the work afterwards to easily disprove any doubters makes me a bit sussy too. Boogie was off stream in like just over a minute after the tattoo finished, felt kinda rushed to me.
I like the ephemeral ink theory, something along those lines could explain a lot.

In a way I'm glad how things have turned out post-tattoo stream. Boogie obviously did this partly so that the 'OMG BOOGIE GOT A CRINGE TATTOO WTF' story would outshine the fake cancer and fake molestation stories.
Literally nobody is talking about it other than a few small parts of the Internet. Most of Boogie's critics aren't giving him the time of day. Nobody is really making it as big of a shocking deal as Boogie wanted. He's just some fat retard with a shit tattoo on his face, and the welfare check later that day was hopefully proof that he regrets every fucking bit of it.
Thing is, if you ask anyone online about Boogie right now they will attribute him to faking cancer. That won't go away. This tattoo stunt did fuck all to subdue that disgusting story, Steven.
Like someone mentioned a few pages back - the high of it all will slowly fade away. The euphoria will go and Boogie will realise he's fucked up massively. Even if this is an ephemeral ink tattoo that will slowly go away, it is still there clear as day on the fat fuck's face. He's getting barely any clout from the internet about it and he has to watch as everyone stares at him IRL like the fucking idiot he is.

“Note: Ephemeral does not endorse using Ephemeral ink to get tattoos on the Face, the Head, Around the Eyes, Lips, and Genital areas”
It doesn’t say why though. You are also supposed to use some colloidal patches afterwards.
As for laser, they say:
“Laser removal methods were specifically developed and designed for the removal of permanent tattoo inks. Ephemeral was designed to be broken down and removed by the body over time. Ephemeral does not currently have any approved, safe or effective method of accelerating your fade, including Laser that we are comfortable recommending.”
Not that boogie bothered doing any research.

I think that Boogie did get the tattoo for real, I know its crazy but I don't think he would fake it. He is even talking about getting more tattoos and tatted up after he noticed his child bride found it hot.
Boogie is waddling around at 500 pounds, do you think getting a tattoo that says liar is that big of a deal to 'end the negative feedback' and move on? This dude is being super rewarded after this: More attention, successful podcast and big donos (#1 on youtube, Boogie's split is 25%) all to get a tattoo that says liar that you will cover up with your beard.
I'm sure he got some sort of ink thats easier to remove with laser, same with steve-o's dick tattoo.
