In the beginning of the lolcow live meltdown stream 4, Wings recommended that Boogie take SSRIs and of course he flips the fuck out at the question. However, I remember Boogie once saying he took Trintellix (SSRI) for anxiety. He claimed that once he took it for the first time, the anxiety went away instantly. Yeah, it takes about a couple of weeks for most people to actually start seeing results from SSRIs, especially if you have massive amounts of fat that absorbs most of the medication.

I couldn't find the video about the Trintellix, but while looking for it, I stumbled upon this Youtube channel:

One of Boogie’s favorite things in the world besides lying about his medical conditions and childhood trauma is being a “Hicklib”.

Besides virtue signaling about all the supposed racism you witnessed - pretending you grew up in a tar paper shack and how muh daddy died of the black lung (sound familiar?) are two critical parts of larping as a hicklib. Really, the only box he doesn’t check on being a hicklib is pretending to like ancient libtarded dogshit like Woody Guthrie.

If you can’t afford or are too stunted to move across the state to a hipster enclave you do what boogie does and claim real rednecks are all libtards/communists/socialists.

I don’t think boogie came from a poor trash family tbh.
Without power leveling too much, I’ll just say that I came a rather affluent family, but my line of work has had me work with many people from humble backgrounds. That includes people still below the poverty line, and people who grew up poor but have since become wealthy.

A rather universal trait I’ve noticed is that people who grew up poor tend to be exceptionally money conscious. Even people who have absolutely no need to be anymore.
I’ve also noticed this with my grandparents who grew up during the depression and WW2. Despite not actually being poor even during that period, the mental scars of having to cut corners and live more scrupulously during the formative years stayed with them till the day they die.

Compare this with boogie. He spends like there’s no tomorrow. He seems to have no financial literacy whatsoever. And this doesn’t seem to be some new development: he’s always been wasteful and extravagant. And even when money (supposedly) became tight, he never altered his behavior. He doesn’t even seem able to live modestly.
All this leads me to think boogie wasn’t really poor. Lower middle class? Maybe. Did he have a quality of life below many Americans? Maybe, but so do many in the south east, especially Arkansas. It’s a poor region, even for the rich.
But did he grow up in some dilapidated trailer, parents unsure if they could pay for tomorrow? Absolutely not. Did he ever go hungry? Look at the fat fuck man. Was he ever truly poor? I think not.
 
Most people by 50 have some sort of motivation and drive in their lives. They built something, have plans, aspirations, families… Boogie how you doing?

Another wonderful night to go to bed knowing you aren’t Boogie2988.
