The problem is Boogie's lies always grow. As soon as the initial lie stops getting attention he has to increase the audacity and shock-value. So we gradually ended up with him in the last few months claiming to be actively dying of a Cancer that is less likely to kill someone than old age getting them first. He was so used to people believing his cancer story, now in it's mutated, extreme form due to the lie snowballing, that he bought his own Bullshit. He used this new lie to justify the skeevy Cryptocoin, like he'd used his abuse exaggerations as a shield against bad behaviour for years; and that's when he fucked up. Bullshit doesn't make a strong foundation, he wasn't just a statue with a feet of clay- he was a statue with a base of shit.
I 100% can believe he had polycythemia of some form, just not the the cancerous form. Nor was his life, comfort, and medical costs impacted severely by it the way he's progressively been claiming about the condition.
To throw on the tinfoil hat a moment: I think he's admitted this to Keem already; and that's why Keemster is trying to lay the groundwork of an Excuse that testing was never actually completed. So, now, they can do a reveal that he does have Polycythemia or secondary P. vera, he was just a poor wittle mixed up Countryboy, and didn't understand that there's two kinds of Polycythemia vera. He really thought he he Cancer, really! Honest!
It's stupid, it makes no sense if he was regularly seeing Doctors, having blood relieved, having blood testing, someone would have pointed out ‚it ain't cancer, my dude'- and it certainly wasn't actively killing him the way he dramatised over the past couple months. The very sad Truth is that some of his emotionally stunted, emotionally lonely and vulnerable, genuinely retarded Fans will still buy into it to avoid facing the real Truth that they were manipulated emotionally and for money; or they will accept it because they literally can't comprehend otherwise.
