Bossman is homeless as soon as Virginia law allows him to be evicted if there is no trust. He'll sell the house to the first Cash for Home advertisement he sees on the side of the road and then squat if they leave the house to him. He'll blow through any inheritance he has unrestricted access to in less than a month. However, remember the natural gas money. We don't know how much they get or how long it will last, but it's enough it allowed his parent to retire early to an upper middle class lifestyle and there's a decent chance it lasts as long as Austin given his addictions. That alone is a monthly passive income even without a trust. Austin will of course sell his rights for a FAT payday if he's able to. Even if they go trust, they need to have a trustee administering it that isn't someone he can just threaten or suicide bait like a family member. Make it the lawyer.
I have zero faith they're setting this up properly given how much of an enabler Bossmom is and Ratdad can't even install a fucking door. Despite that I think Austin will gamba till the day his heart pops because the the circumstances are just so unique.

Austin's never going broke because of his parents' natural gas holdings. He'll live a decrepit, disgusting life but not homeless. I honestly predict he'll eventually die of a hot dose of drugs, laced with our boy fenty more than anything.
You guys are putting way too much stock into the thought of Austin outliving Ratdad and Bossmom. With as much crack as he smokes, plus the excitement of the gamba, his resting heart rate is probably 175 bpm. Inheritance likely won't be an issue.
