Justin and Shayla aren't people as much as they are living breathing caricatures of filthy sanctimonious hippies whose pastimes include writing long winded essays about the evils of capitalism and social networking on their iphones which are then promptly posted to their endless amount of facebook pages. Pointing this out always leads to a chimpout and Justin explaining it's OK for them to use it as a tool to promote the philosophy of green anarchy... Except he doesn't do that very often.

You'd think one of the biggest appeals to adopting a hunter and gatherer lifestyle (aka homelessness) would be the dignity and privacy maintained in anonymity and solitude of nature. lol not for these two. Justin and Shayla share every minute, excruciating, awkward, embarrassing detail of their and their kids everyday life. It's mostly them walking around naked everywhere but can be as mundane as what they're making for lunch, sometimes they even feud with each other writing passive aggressive or outright hostile statuses about the other which has on more than one occasion come to IRL blows. They use their facebook pages the way fetlife is supposed to be used, oblivious to the inappropriateness of the content. Neither has any interest in weening themselves out of their crippling social media addiction, or thinking critically about their, at times, dangerous lifestyle.

Justin claims his mother ruined his life by circumcising him, this is something he brings up constantly and he often likes to discuss his son's genitals publicly on FB. I guess he's right, she kinda did considering how he turned out in the end.:

The kid also isn't given clean drinking water and is made to consume it directly from slow moving streams, or rivers. There was once a status written by Justin I unfortunately can't find bragging about how strong his son's gut flora is because they all drank from the same stream and he and his wife wound up violently shitting themselves for weeks while Ru was A-OK. It could have been a fun lesson in teaching the kid how to responsibly build a fire and treat water through boiling, but that's too statist or some shit so he'll continue risking his child's health for some quality virtue signalling on facebook:

Meme's aside one of the most dangerous places anymore is the Ganges river because it's filled with human waste. It's a medical blessing that places like the US can give rather decent and fucking safe water to over 300 million people. Daily this saves countless lives period. But no, anything to complain about they will throw their edgy behavior at.

As someone with a back round camping, and I'd assume people who live off the grid would know this as well, there's ONE thing you worry about it's running out of good water. Water isn't hard to find or collect (esp in the area they are in) safe is another story. Human compost is mostly awful aside the sheer fact of what it is, we don't make good shit, literally diet is a big factor on that but more so how we break food down. If human compost was worth a ... (forgive me) shit we'd be using it.

There's one thing human waste is good for. It's flushing down a toilet to be cleaned at one of our many first rate water treatment plants, anything else is just absurd and dangerous.
