So you're saying Hamas is uploading pro-Hamas material on TikTok for recruitment?
No, not for recruitment. But to garner sympathy amongst the TikTok demographic, which seems to be mostly zoomers and a significant fraction of the regular folk.
Garner sympathy for the Palestinians and by extension Hamas itself, since this group paints itself as the protector of the Palestinians, don't mind the fact that Hamas is a brutal armed group that not only targets the Jews but also any Palestinian that is considered their enemy, be it because they are accused of being a Israeli collaborator, are involved with any of their rivals or simply broke one of their rules.
By the way Hamas has promoted Islamism, quite successfully, as a political ideology on Gaza, which used to be very secular place compared to the rest of the Muslim world.
I doubt Hamas even knows those people are "protesting" on his behalf.
That's the funny part, they don't really know who do it but they don't really care either, what matters is that they do it and how many people involve themselves in it. In fact, in this link you can see how a
drag queen leads a groups of kids to chant "Free Palestine" or even look
at the protest in the Columbia University.
Put yourself in the shoes of any of these protesters, and think for a moment, would Hamas allow drag queen hour in Gaza? Would they allow LGBT representation in their institutions? Would they allow women to have as many rights as they have in the West? Would they support abortion/reproductive rights? Would they allow you to protest their actions? The answer is no.
Fun fact: The IDF is infamous for blackmailing homosexual Palestinians to turn them into informants and collaborators,
here is an article by the Times of Israel calling out this practice.
Mind you, I'm not defending Israel, they have committed their own share of brutal and atrocious acts but I bet you that if you ask any of the people involved in the protest what they think of Hamas, they would call them "freedom fighters" and be completely oblivious to the brutal acts of Hamas, in fact, I'm sure that if you mention that they have
engaged in targeted killings, have used civilians as human shields, have recruited child soldiers or that their last election was in 2006 and that Hamas took over Gaza in a coup back in 2007 and hasn't hold a single electoral process in Gaza since then, they'll call you an Israeli propagandist.
Sorry for the politicsperging
