Thank you, I don't know much about the charity scam, nor did I see him trying to defend Pokimane. But damn, everything around her is so sketch it seems like a simp cult.

Then explain why men, especially younger men, don't even want to be hypergamous let alone date women, and dating sites/bridal shops are losing money. Like it or not, women get less severe consequences than men, and western laws tend to favor women especially with divorce. Very few younger men and woman want to tie their life down to 1 person, welcome to the youth in general. Much like the hyper conservatives even in the Amish, they grant their kids some time to explore the world, and choose what lifestyle fits them. No, they waited until today. And I'd like to say that's all a coincidence, but my gut tells me they just sit on stuff like this until it's most expedient for them to profit from it. Like a bunch of dominoes, everyone suddenly tries to rewrite their place in history. The grift is real.

It's not, both sides spread their worldview with their message, whether they want to or not. He just leans into it extra heavily cuz.. meh. Conservative dad yo? Part of it is also using your own smurts to pick out the information asides they tend to bring along. Parts of him are shitty, yet he's doing some good. It's a balancing scale no matter who you pick. Like most people.

Parasocialism is a disease. Don't limit your thought-seeking to people who just regurgitate your own thoughts back at you. If you don't know any better, you believe it's insightful. But when you do know better you'll realize you only think it's insightful because you're hearing exactly what you want to hear and not what you should be hearing.

Of course, I think the issue is not the 'want' for breaking out. But some of these people even Seeing that bubble. And mind you there are many bubbles, layers upon bubbles. That's what I mean when I say that for some it's a journey of realization, watching their reality get nibbled away from beneath them as they slowly walk out of that first bubble.

As much as we all would just love to smack them awake with the harsh truth. It's hard not to get a reflex reaction getting your reality questioned. Some take longer than others. Not all of them spent an absorbent amount of time online researching all of this, or are looking in the other corners whilst leading a busy life elsewhere.
