I will say, outside of the current drama with the character. I do like that they at least went creative in making a creepy monster being for a killer. There's been so many humanoid figures in the game, that seeing something like the unknown, demo, or even the alien gives some fresh air to the mix.

In 2020 they stated they would start adding sexuality to the lore of the characters. In 2022 they were "thrilled to confirm it's first playable LGBTQIA2S+ character". Followed by pendants with different pride flags.

They’ve added over 10 pride-themed cosmetics for both survivors and killers, champion drag queens playing the game on stream on the Steam store page, and even have company-sponsored pride rallies. It is very unlikely that this is intentionally designed to offend troons, which, in my opinion, makes it funnier. Take notes, this is what happens when you foster a playerbase and company culture of perpetually offended genderspecials.

This makes me wonder if eventually, the company will end up surrendering to the troon mafia, and changing the model and design of the monster to something completely different, which will result in this old physically accurate troon model being only accessible via-mods, who will of course be flagged and deleted off mainstream modding sites, the cycle for this is already predictable.
