The 4 millions is also a lie, I guess that 70-80% of these subscribers are no longer active accounts. Boogie's peak was 10 years ago, people moved on, changed accounts because of their new android phone, now they only have a vague memory that they one day subscribed to a fat screaming fatso looking for his mountain dew. I estimate that nowadays boogie's hardcore fans are less than 15k and the occasional watchers around 100k. I know I have no data to support my theory but the fact that is he now struggles to better than 20/25k views per video.

I think I've posted this before, but I also believe his actual subscriber count is far lower.
I'm subscribed to channels that get around the same views as Boogie per video (unless the algorithm picks them up) , and they range around the hundreds of thousands subscribers.
I'm guesstimating his active subscribers to be around the 100 - 300k range, and a huge part of those don't interact with his channel.

Agree, but don't forget also that many never check their subscriptions on YouTube, or rarely. Some will also don't bother watching a boogie video because they know it's boring garbage but also will not make the extra effort to unsubscribe.
I believed google was supposed to make a big clean-up in december 2023 (suppress all ghost accounts) but I don't think it was implemented on YouTube because I was expecting mass subscriber count genocide and it didn't happened.

All social media companies are motivated to exaggerate their subscriber count. Back in the day when broadcast TV from three networks dominated, we were assured people watched an average of ten hours of TV every day.
Oh, and this didn't go down as cable TV and home video became a thing, no sir. People used their cable and VHS collection in addition to watching ten hours of broadcast TV each and every day.
How that works with sleep and full time jobs is left as an exercise to the reader.
While I doubt YouTube actually creates phony accounts and lies about it (for I am foolishly innocent) I'm confident half to 90% of their users are only records in a database.

People subbed to Boogie out of sheer pity, not because they liked him or his content. I've been guilty of a pity sub here and there (not to Boogie) over the years. I never watch their content. In fact I hardly watch anyone I'm subscribed to outside of a select few. I'm sure the same can be said for Boogie.
Also, pretty sure people speculated that he botted subs. Hard to prove, but his numbers never dropped as drastically or quickly than you'd expect for a channel of his size. What we do know is that 0.5% of his subscribers actively watch Boogie's content (a core fan base of around 20K subs...and I'm being generous here).
I find Boogie's decline in numbers hilarious because I know how mad it makes him. He is obsessed with subscriber counts and view counts. Any time his channel makes any form of positive sub growth, he immediately has to tweet about it. I'd say it's one of the things he's most buttblasted over.
I try to avoid clicking on Boogie's videos when I can, but if I do find myself on a Boogie video, I make sure to have a scroll of the comments to see what's going on. I can't tell you the number of times I've seen a Boogie fan leave a comment along the lines of: "Boogie, I've been a fan of yours for X amount of years (usually 10+) / Boogie, I've been watching you since your X video from 200X" etc. What that tells me is that a lot of his fans are long-time fans who refuse to stop watching Boogie out of sheer habit.

This morning I happened upon this psych article from last year titled 'The Complex Relationship between ADHD, Autism, and Personality Disorders like Narcissism', and quickly realized this could have been written specifically about Boogie. It easily explains why Boogie is truly solely a covert narcissist, and NOT a person with autism.
It's been touched on here before, but there are inherent issues with Boogie's claimed autism diagnosis from the Mercy Clinic. First and foremost @YaBoi has previously verified via email that not only do they not offer adult autism testing at said clinic, but they don't offer any autism testing and couldn't even recommend anywhere local that even offered adult testing. There's a reason for this: many mental health professionals feel adult diagnosis is generally a waste of time, as the time for developmental treatment has passed and the diagnosis itself serves little purpose (to people who aren't looking to use it as either a crutch or a weapon). Boogie himself also has only relatively recently decided to lean on the autism excuse, below is the earliest tweet referencing autism in any capacity. No references to suspected autism in his childhood, teen years, young adult, or adult life whatsoever until 18 months ago:
These first two paragraphs describe the differences between neurodevelopmental conditions and personality disorders:
Out of these two, it seems obvious to me that Boogie fits a personality disorder. He hasn't publicly reported ADHD symptoms and has never tweeted that he suffers from it, but the article goes on to nearly exactly describe his situation.
It describes specifically how covert narcissism and autism share similarities in social and communication issue but really nails Boogie with the following quote:
'But, there is one fundamental difference - unlike people with autism, those with covert narcissism want attention and admiration, rather than simply lacking social skills.'
We already know and it's plain for anyone reasonable to see that attention and admiration are literally Boogie's raison d'etre, his reason for living. This quote exactly describes why he is a covert narcissist as opposed to autistic, the article draws the connections between ADHD and overt narcissism as well but IMO the latter doesn't concern him at all.
The article goes on to describe how one of the key differences between a personality disorder like covert narcissism and developmental like autism is the cause/intention of behaviours exhibited. This section is especially damning to Boogie IMO, the last two paragraphs basically describing him to a T.
'With narcissism, there is almost always a higher purpose: people are used to feed the sense of self-worth.'
Once again, this describes Boogie perfectly. So many of his issues and dramas over the years are directly tied to his constant need for asspats and inflation of his self-worth, this is a distinctly narcissistic trait as opposed to autistic. It describes how someone with NPD often is able to mentally recognize other's emotions and act accordingly, something autistic people struggle with but something Boogie has never reported or displayed any struggle with. They will then feign connecting with those emotions with the aim of manipulating, this is literally directly out of Boogie's playbook.
It describes how people who are legitimately autistic are often hyper-empathic and rarely consciously hurt other people, while he will endlessly claim to be an empath anyone who goes through his history will see that this simply isn't the case. He has consciously hurt many people over the years, autistic people do hurt others as well but it's generally due to a lack of social understanding rather than actual malice. It also describes how autistic people typically find structure to be peaceful, while narcissists embrace chaos and disruption. Boogie has the polar opposite of structure in his life, fucking Keemstar was even bullying him about this recently. The guy just flies through life flitting from on thing to the next with no real structure or schedule, from one drama to the next, which column do you feel he most resembles?
It also describes what I think are likely his prime motivations for having actually attended therapy in the past: not in the hopes of navigating life more easily or actually addressing and overcoming any of his problematic behaviours, but in order to learn how to better control and manipulate others. Finally the author ends the article describing an ex-partner who is basically a carbon copy of Boogie's situation, only with an authentic autism diagnosis. She would gaslight and manipulate them, only to blame it on their autism. Does that sound like anyone else you know of?
