I remember that Adam guy being a dick and ending up featured in here but I guess I lost the filler arc. I think someone can make a decent cartoon about these guys and how shit they became.
I remember them laughing at some battered Machinima aluminium logo when they bought some youtube channel (something something "Game news") laughing that it represented the then-current status of machinima. Only to end up even worse than them. Some irony.

I remember when RT comics came out. They were shit. RT were happy to janny anyone with clout who criticized their precious webcomic; they never had a "don't feed the trolls" policy. Their entire "community" was infested with yes-men, favoritism and parasocial cringe from a fairly early stage and in retrospect the only surprise about their downhill slide is that it took as long as it did.

Bit of old lore: back when the comics first came out the site had a "featured user" every day. One particular user decided, upon being featured, to change his profile picture to "RT Comics are Fail" that day, meaning it was displayed right on the front page. They promptly banned him.

I guess nothing lasts forever, but it's still sad to see what was a major part of internet history truly dead. Rooster Teeth works as a small studio mostly of friends making stuff that they think is funny. Once they became a "business" it was only a matter of time. It's clear no one was having a good time or put any joy into their work. RWBY was the last project that anyone truly cared about until Monty died. RvB was good until the finished Blood Gulch Chronicles and should've just ended there.
