There's a substantial number of people agreeing that, as a general rule, kids should have their internet access limited and/or monitored, even citing things like being encouraged to self-harm and TikTok-induced Tourette's. They then, usually by omission, imply that coming to the belief that you are of the opposite or neither sex through consuming online material is absolutely not similar to the aforementioned disorders. Absolutely fucking amazing.

The "listen to trans voices" crowd are surprisingly unanimous in their condemnation of the affirming parent of the dead trans child for even daring to suggest that there may be other factors than transphobia that are worth addressing. Whether Esther's suggestions themselves will actually do anything, or whether she's worked out that the affirmation of the transgender identity did not cure her child of self-harm and an eating disorder is another matter.

Seems well known around here but it’s still annoying. These two kids were edgy/sociopath teens who just wanted to kill ppl. They had other targets in mind too besides Brianna. It wasn’t like they targeted troons. It just seems like unfortunately Brianna didn’t have many friends so he was quick to raise them up on the offer to hang out. So he was an easy target.
