They were, but Path kept refusing to pay while not disputing the validity of the debts. After a while, Cologix said fuck it and sued.
 
It's going to be interesting to see what this lawsuit will bring into the light. While it is, may Allah forgive me his humble servant for stating, a CANADIAN lawsuit, there is potential here for shit to be unveiled that is useful for the forums own Jihad against the enemies of God.

Canadian lawsuits are not precedential in the USA, but the US courts can take judicial notice of things that happen in our missbegotten cousins moose oppressed realm.

The Company that is suing is Canadian, but this is in Arizona as this is where Path is currently incorporated

I think the name stuck, actually. It's easy to say. "Hop on Zoom". It caught on and it was the new shiny thing that everyone used in the pandemic. It went as viral as the Corona.

Not really, zoom charges a license fee, people don't just adopt a random previously unheard of service in place of other name brands for a catchy name
