It is not a privilege to be born in the wrong body with the wrong genitals It is not a privilege to go through the wrong puberty It is not a privilege to make the wrong hormones and be beholden to the medical system to get the right ones It is not a privilege to require and expensive and invasive surgery to get the right genitals and then need to dilate for the rest of your life to maintain it It is not a privilege to have no choice on if you can get pregnant or not

Sorry if this is hard to understand, english isn't my native language
I just read on X (from a cis gay man) that period/menstruation commercials (such as tampons or pads) are transphobic cause it doesn't include trans men on it. And yes, I know many of us do menstruate, but I don't feel like... I need to be represented on that. But then I thought maybe it's just me?
I don't feel dysphoric about my genitalia, like sure I would like to have a penis, but it's okay I guess. Menstruation on the other hand... I want to stay away from it as far as I can.
What do you guys think?

I'm convinced these women who bring up periods like that are doing it on purpose to make these men feel awful. It's peak female socialization. Make an comment that's only offensive to the target, but is totally plausible to just be an offhand comment. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you!" Then a couple days later say the same thing to someone else while the target is in earshot. Men will never understand.

Yes, I think it's because they then know that person is just being polite when they use their pronouns or tranny name. We have tweets on this thread of troons just seething because they know we don't really think trans women are women. These men, some women but most of the ones seething about "misunderstandings" are men, want to control our very thoughts. It's not enough to be polite to them, we have to be true believers.
It reminds me of the way Muslims treat any sort of wrongthink in Arabic countries with injuries and death and "honor" killings. Say what you want about Christianity, but we haven't burned witches in a very long time. Despite the Bible literally saying not to let witches live.

Exactly. They believe that because none of the other kids liked them, they weren't "socialized male". What they don't seem to understand is that being ostracized was the male socialization (and none of the girls liked them, either). They have impaired theory of mind, and the result is poor social reciprocity.
I attribute both their being excluded by their peers during childhood and their failure to correctly attribute that exclusion to the same kind of neurodevelopmental abnormality that prompted them to "transition" and makes them believe that they and others pass as the opposite sex. It's all the same issue, just manifesting in different ways at different life stages. I don't necessarily think that all of them have full-blown, diagnosable autism, but I do think that it's interesting to note that the increase in rates of self-proclaimed "gender dysphoria" almost exactly parallel a concomitant increase in both autism diagnoses and smartphone adoption/social media exposure.
It's almost as though it's not good for the human brain to receive social stimulation exclusively via virtual interactions with an online echo chamber.

Once again an instance of people selectively ignoring The whole "appeal" of the original was it was incredibly offensive. It's a spy movie parody series where they take every aspect of the genre to it's logical extreme. Some goon disguised as a woman for a bit though so it's now retroactively incredibly transphobic or some dumb fucking shit.
Reminds me of how I've been unintentionally pulled into arguments with close friends that apparently drank social media politics kool aid a few months back about fucking Death note of all things because I reacted to a post one linked where someone made a stupid fanfic""joke"" where Light couldn't kill L because L was now "her deadname". I pointed out it was fucking stupid because death note works on birth names. The tone of the conversation which was chill at first somehow became claiming I hated transpeople and sudden holier than thou dismissiveness where instead of gushing about how cool death note was they started going "oh well death notes stupid anyways I can't believe you like that lmao what even IS a name? how does the magic book know what your name is and why should it operate like that?" The whole fucking PREMISE of the GOD DAMN SERIES is that it's a weird book that has very specific rules and the guys I was talking with were talking a lot more about the series than me till I pointed out the shitty meme. None of them are troons or even in any risk of trooning out by the way, so it's completely just the twitter/reddit user brainrot I guess. Even me pointing out the fact that the "deadname" shit would technically shield someone more in the fact thatit'd be another title obscuring the person's birth name didn't work to break their selective forgetful bullshit. There was literally no one around to impress and they treated someone they've known for years like some kind of fucking stranger that needed to be put down. Shit's been chill since but it's genuinely spooky as fuck when that kinda shit happens with people.

The problem infecting non-troons is something that's more in line with the increasingly atomizing social aspects of the last 10 years. Practically everyone's been forcibly funneled into places like twitter and reddit, and the corporate shit going on in general at places people are employed at all have their own really fake ass kind of behavior structure enforced somewhat. People i've known for years seem mostly the same as they were years ago but some of them have kinda "turned" for lack of a better way of putting it since the lockdown world hit. the troon dogma is only one of many dogmas, and it doesn't technically matter even what one is being brought up, it's just the troon shit is the most convenient for shutting down dissent and enforcing an "good guy group" by people looking for any drop of clout and power in this hellscape.
This fuckers vids keep showing up in my recommended lately and all of them are dated to like a year or so ago. I don't watch any political shit on youtube at all so I'm guessing this is some kind of algorithm psy-op shit going on here. This one was the first one that showed up and my first thought looking at the thumbnail was "holy shit they're really depicting the people they perceive as scary political enemies as fucking soyjacks unironically." I still refuse to click any of these vids though I might look at this one in incognito mode sometime soon because I'm morbidly curious about just how fucking bad it is. The other one of this channels vids that keeps showing up for me is "uhhh, trans women representation in media is GOOD actually!" And it's got Bridget in the thumbnail with some sign going "THIS IS A WOMAN" which means it's blatantly gonna be a long winded video about how destroying a character's whole deal to make them "trans" is totally good and cool even though I've seen countless trannies online skeeved out by that shit and how it's like unironic grooming tier dialogue with only the most reddit/twitter brained people praising the change-ER I MEAN CONMFIRMATION SHE WAS ALWAYS TRAAAANS AND NEVER KNEEEEW IT TOTALLY "MASKING" AHAHA.
