Why are American conservatives so retarded and self sabotaging?

Also japam has its own isolated cultism, they don't believe in God anyway
Uh no, Japan has a variety of religions, some include Christianity which was introduced to Japan a few hundred years ago and caused a lot of controversy within the country.
this post falls apart when only the left wing has a narrative or believes in narratives
I can think of a few off the top of my head:
  • Biological fatalism
  • Women are to blame for men's failings
  • Andrew Tate dindu nuffin
  • Lost Cause myth
  • Holocaust denialism

I hate them almost as much as left wingers
Honestly, in my daydreaming about political aspirations while bedridden, I can only ever picture it as a Labour job, not a Tory job.

This would be as a Dem, not a Republican, for Americans.

The reasons why are pretty simple - so long as you can maintain an anti-immigration policy while choosing allies based off of everything except their immigration views, you might be able to pull both off.

So, in the UK - hold an openly contemptuous view for mass immigration without using it as your first point. Like with Brexit, a huge slew of people will move towards it based off of that exclusively.

Anti-immigrant groups will trust a primarily Unionist/socialist party moreso than Socialists would trust a primarily anti-immigration party. Overt "Third Way" won't work, at all, because socialists are extremely wary people.

Trusting the right wing is a bad fucking idea. It's bad enough with fucking Sargon of Akkad, here, and for America you have to contend with a lot more nuance. But Right-Wing Dem for Northern states is more likely to win - like with Trump in Michigan or Penn. While the Socialist left will allow persuasion to function, the right wing will always force that fucking Geld-uber-alles as their primary motive.

They're unable to comprehend that it's not the 1950s anymore and it never will be
That's another narrative right wingers like to promulgate, that the 1950s were the peak of society and had no problems whatsoever and life back then was ideal. Sure some things were better, like home ownership being much easier, but that's really just about the best thing about it.

  • Low crime
  • Low suicide
  • Low depression
  • Low obesity
  • High birth rate
  • High marriage rate
  • Zenith of American industrial power
  • No Pride month
  • Operation Wetback
Lots to like about it. Yeah, the 60s followed the 50s, but any decade without a bunch of depressed fat chicks on SSRIs trundling along, shrieking about refugee rights or whatever, sounds like a good deal.

I'm aware. That doesn't counteract what what I said. Christianity is a very minority religion there

?? Are you saying these are right wing beliefs? Who told you that?

Its not really an American issue, it's a conservative one.

Holding onto the status quo in a system of haves and have-nots means you will always have people who want things to change. Not to mention, technology is the driving force behind change, politics mostly pretends to help it on its way and protect from problems (some do actually make a real effort from time to time, we would be dead already if the demons always ruled)

It doesn't actually reduce down to have and have-nots, actually a lot of wealthy people are total progressive dipshits because they hate people with morals and standards. Bit of a commie thing to say its all about wealth.

Despite what people on this thread say, I believe it is a lack of Christian ethics that drives away people, specifically the Tradcaths and Orthodox. What do these two have that the protestant denoms don't? An actual framework and tradition. That would do wonders with young folks today who feel lost in the modern age. Between the heavily sanitized and watered down inspospeaches at megachurches, and LGBTs infiltrating most prot denoms, now is the time for the conservatives to back and prop up the denominations that are actually conservative.

Plus the left offers social freedoms, and the conservatives don't really have anything but a watered down version of what the left and dems are offering, as well as a lame attempt at economic freedom.

The problem is Christianity and its morals.

They hold the conservatives back like a giant jewstone shackled to their ankles.

Be like the Orbán. Pay lip service to JESUS and LAW but cheat and use every trick you can to gerrymander and undermine your opponent.

Biden has a mail in print factory? Outprint him. Cheat better like a Chink.

Kinda surprised @SSj_Ness didn't respond to this post...

........

So I just said something similar in another Deep Thoughts post that also goes here.

Admittedly I probably shouldn't judge conservatives by KF, but one trend I have noticed is knowing something is bad or wrong when the other side does it... but then being okay with it when its against something you don't like.

The example from the other thread was police abusing their power. An alarming number of people were all like "I'm fine with it, as long as they do it to jews, black people, the gays etc."

Elsewhere I see people complaining about censorship.... but then are like "BTW anime should be banned because it has sexy stuff in it."

I've never understood how people will suddenly shut their brains off the minute its their biases being catered to. No, dumbasses, either censorship is bad or it isn't. You don't get to have your cake and eat it.

The reason you have to be absolute like that is simple: the minute you introduce "nuance" into it, is the minute people start learning how to weasel their way through anything. The minute you say police brutality is okay as long as its against minorities--congratulations you've just said that as long as the cops plant a My Little Pony plushie in your car, they can declare you a degenerate minority and do whatever (and don't pretend cops don't do this shit).

And of course we've seen the rabbit hole of censorship already--Oops, cartoon characters using guns is too violent. Cartoon characters using swords is too violent. Cartoon characters having swords is too violent. Cartoon characters saying mean words is too violent.... it goes on and on. You allow the rot in anywhere, it spreads.

For an example of a personal experience, I had a girlfriend once (believe it or not) who said she couldn't watch or play anything that involved guns. It sounded fine at first--I assumed she meant realistic guns, like James Bond movies.... but the thing is the minute you have someone like that, you realize how ridiculous it gets. Even the 4Kids-censored version of Sonic X, which had the guns changed to lasers specifically to placate people like her, was not good enough. Even Nerf guns would trigger her. (The relationship did not last, obviously).

That's how it goes, people: you allow bad ideas to spread, they spread anywhere and absolutely.

..... If I'm honest though, a huge part of what I have against conservatism is that a lot of its ideas really are kinda bad. That's the problem with America in general: we have only two choices and both are Retard.

One last parting shot.... another thing that annoys me about American Politics is the need to White Knight for anything that's remotely "on their side." Like someone else's example of "Andrew Tate dindu nuffin." I'm not sure why each side is so obsessed with looking the more good and pure. Most cultures have accepted that their leaders are not always the most upstanding of men.

Because it's a strawman, nobody thinks any point in time had "no problems whatsoever". I tend not to engage hyperbolic points. If people can't see the 50's were the peak for America, then they either don't understand where modern problems came from or how they were less present back then. Virtually any issue you can cite, from school shootings to abortion to the economy, basically everything was better because there was more of the good and less of the bad.

The worst thing, which was pretty much out of everyone's control, was the Cold War. Though, with WWIII a possibility, we're not even that much better off in that regard either.

The only thing missing was, as you pointed out before, quality entertainment, but I'm starting to think an excess of immersive entertainment (especially Internet) is a societal detriment and not a boon anyway, a sort of light vice. I guess conveniences were missing but we had what we needed, though of course medical advancement is good.

"NOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T CHEER FOR BAD THINGS HAPPENING TO PEOPLE YOU DON'T LIKE BECAUSE... BECAUSE YOU JUST CAN'T, OKAY?????"

There's hordes of self-declared anarchists and communists who go on about being against the state and censorship and how information should be free for everybody (as long as it's not hateful), but cheer when our site is fucked with and goes through attempts at shutdown and deplatforming ("Kiwifarms is full of neo-nazi chud incel trumptard cultists who want to holocaust the heckin valid and brave trans people on the right side of history, we need to not just take them down, we need to physically hunt them down and imprison them all"), why shouldn't I cheer when these fags get censored and deplatformed (like when Edolf Muskler threw a bunch of liberal journos off Xitter or when pro-Palestine commies get hit with antisemitism charges)?

As a neo nazi chud incel trumptard jobless cultist uneducated loq iq right wing extremist i say we are good and they are bad
