Blue dye doesn't change his appearance, in fact it draws more attention to him. He might end up getting harassed by someone who isn't a ween - but at the same time, the likelihood of him running into a ween or someone looking for a few seconds of internet infamy is high.

Putting himself in spaces where people will recognize him and know what he's done is going to backfire. Anime cons make people bold enough to do crazy shit, it makes Chris bold enough to act inappropriately as is.
