The benefit of coming to something like the Farms, specifically, is that here is where we can comment on what we see as we see it all in one place. Rather than wait for permission from a community or people like Joe who think they're somehow above the whole of internet culture.

Conversely, don't try to get permission or bargain with the community using emotions to try to plea you're sidesteping controversy because it never works like this. The Internet is not something that can be wrangled and whether Joe likes it or not, thanks to his screenshare oops, he is at the epicenter of the topic of the moment. It'll pass soon though and they'll all find something else on the Internet to fuck up.

I would bet almost anything as soon as the MANdy shit dropped, he went running to e-Senpai Masterson. Dick's sage advice would likely include ignoring this to the maximum extent possible, and no concurrent recommendation to lay off July (who must be destroyed at all costs because pedo Vito's fee fees were hurt).

Well, obviously, there's what he ought to do, and what he's going to do.

I see it this way:

- Best thing he could do (at least arguably) is admit he fucked up. Ban MANdy. Maybe turn it into some "teachable lesson" thing. Take the high road. It would sting, but it's like ripping off a band aid. Unfortunately, I think he's psychologically incapable of admitting he fucked up with anything anymore (see, i.e. basically last entire fucking year).
- Middle ground is ignoring the thing. Quietly ban MANdy. That's like tacitly admitting defeat, and I think is about the most he's capable of.
- Worst thing possible is quintuple down on this shit, and keep MANdy around while continuing to embrace MANdy's persona. I think that would only cause this to drag on.

Just my $0.02. Reasonable people can disagree.
