I wasnt defending Boogie or her. I was answering the "Gee golly, I cant comprehend! Why would she not make an intelligent long term decision?" question with "She's dumb, crazy, a child, and for all we know was desperate and he's someone she thought wouldnt hack her into pieces." People do a lot dumber shit than mooch off Boogie all the time. Hardly the most puzzling turn of events in the world.

I cant imagine looking at that girl and thinking "Huh, normally methy would make a smart and wise decision instead! This doesn't make sense!" People like her dont make intelligent or good long term decision.

The horrifying part isn't that she made a bad decision. Its that she and her family are convinced that she made a good decision. Every other bad decision she made probably had a decent turn around time of when the family realized she fucked up.
But in Boogie's case, they're only going to realize once the money dries up and they actually look into what Boogie actually is. By that time it'll be too late as well. If the family was so desperate for their daughter to finally be redeemed and live a normalish life, they're should've tried much harder.

I just watched Joon's latest video on Wings. There are subgroups of Wings trolls who try to get under his skin in different ways. I didn't realise there are as many trolls on Wings still. Made me wonder what attracts so many trolls to Wings? Is it constantly complaining that he's not getting enough donations on his streams?

Switching the focus to Boogie. How come Boogie didn't/doesn't attract as many trolls as Wings? Is it because Boogie hardly ever streams compared to Wings? Perhaps not playing any games when Boogie does stream. Boogie had his share of cringe streaming moments like his divorce meltdowns. Yes plural meltdowns. The "swatting" saga had so many lies of which he was trapped by his lies in the end, yet it just ended with his claim that he was trolling the trolls. No one even refuted his ridiculous claim of equating "weaponized welfare check" to swatting. Just because he incorrectly thinks something is swatting doesn't make it so. There are many instances where Boogie's antics (documented here and elsewhere) could have garnered attention from the likes of Wings trolls but really nothing.

So what does Boogie do that makes him evade the gaze of trolls when Wings still deals with trolls to this day? I don't really follow Wings outside of documentary type videos but Boogie comes across easier to bait since he's still obsessed with responding to anything negative said about him. Is it the constant pity parties and him always being the victim?

1) His former nice guy reputation

2) His obsession with criticism has lead to many nasty chats with "trolls" in DMs. Videos get taken down, channels get taken down, threats get made, people get bullied and harassed. He is well known for creating alt accounts on Twitter, Reddit and Youtube to suck his own dick and threaten / harass critics. Boogie no doubt used his image to have his own fans as well as big shot friends / accomplices to harass any critics as well. Keemstar in particular appears to be a valuable asset of Boogie's as he gave Boogie a platform to make the Lucy Foxx thing blow over.

3) He's a faggot who will go to the furthest extremes to avoid criticism. Childhood rape, fake cancer diagnoses, suicide-baiting, mental health problems, mental "breakdowns".....this faggot leaves no stone unturned in an attempt to make his critics look bad and to make him appear defenseless. How dare you criticize Boogie...he had a bad childhood! These are subjects which Boogie knows that no one will want to touch, hence why he hides behind them.

4) The audience Boogie cultivated was mainly people who felt sorry for him, losers like himself and nerds. Wings and DSP attracted more "toxic gamer" types. The types of people they attracted were more likely to "troll" than Boogie's audience. Not to say that this helped Boogie escape criticism, as he also cultivated an SJW audience who screeched at him any time his true colors showed.


Wings and DSP have the trolls which Boogie deserves. If you listen to Boogie and believe him, you'd think he has the trolls that these 2 deal with.

It's an unjust world. For some reason e-begging is a greater sin than Boogie lying about his parents and sister raping him while simultaneously crying that people falsely accuse him of things.

Idk maybe it's because Wings and DSP gave funnier reactions and sound bytes to trolling / drama. Boogie, despite his "comedic" background gives very little in the way of laughs. This is despite his status as a "lolcow" (which I strongly disagree with Boogie being labelled as one).

Boogie is also effective at manipulating people into thinking he can change. DSP is apparently so far gone that he's a lost cause, but for some reason people hold out hope that Boogie can turn things around. Perhaps this is another reason that Boogie escapes further trolling.

Boogie basically made his brand off of not stepping on any toes and and constantly talking about how hard his life was. His content was inspirational to people and, for as much as I hate this word, wholesome. On a superficial level, Boogie's content was meant to be uplifting because it showed someone with a shitty upbringing and life (or what he presented as a shitty upbringing and life) being happy and successful. I also think it's just another thing Steven latched onto because Mr. Rogers was (and still is) such a beloved and uncontroversial figure. He's what Boogie wishes he could be seen as.
