Chinese Type 87 Armed Police Force Uniform

When I enlisted in Jilin 05', I was issued with two sets of utility uniforms and type 87. They look strangely similar to the green "Class A" in US Army. I spent majority of my service time cleaning those because we were told that a honor member of Armed Police Force should keep his uniform tight and clean, what a pain in the ass...

Extremely colorful field uniforms like those of the the 18th-19th century are more or less dead because they just make you giant targets in an age of generally accurate weapons. Using them for ceremonial purposes is still on the table but it would take someone bold to want to go back to what are now old ideas.

Someone is trying to make tactical tricornes a thing though which have some potential due to their utility in the field compared to the original version of the hat.
