Keith Woods has really catapaulted himself into the limelight. Starting an anti ADL campaign that's gotten Musk's support(at least rhetorically). The media hasn't subjected him to any serious scrutiny beyond saying he's a "raging anti semite" and "White nationalist".

I think tbh Keith's goals are genuine, he's trying to affect policy on Twitter by getting Musk to break with the ADL or at least force some sort of confrontation, as well as getting some other alt right accounts unbanned.

His formerly low profile and lack of cartoonish behavior definitely helps. I doubt it will amount to much, but I think he's realized he can use his platform to at least try to affect the discourse.

Keith and Joel are clearly trying to use Twitter as a springboard for affecting online discourse and potentially policy-with Joel Davis responding to every comment an Australian politician makes about immigration or housing.

You can argue there's a self serving motive there, but I get the impression both of these guys are trying to do something real and concrete. As far as online influencers can.
