Hey Everyone,

It's been 8 months since I last posted an update. Everything is about the same. Chris is still doing well health wise. He's still able to help around the house and help me with the kids. Chris is trying to cook a little more but most importantly remembering the ingredients and what to do. He still refuses to write things down or to start a writing journal to help him with remembering things and with his writing and reading skills. He's also doing a much better job with taking care of his personal needs. He's still down to taking only one prescription out of nine which is for his seizures. Chris is still trying to gain the confidence to speak comfortably around others and fully understand directions due to his disability so it's a bit challenging trying to find employment for him due to his disability. He also wants to drive again. In order to see if Chris has the ability to drive he had to pass a driving simulation course as well as taking the dmv road test again. Chris passed the driving simulation course with flying colors so he was moving in the right direction. However, Chris started to hide the fact that he wasn't taking his seizure meds and had another seizure. Due to the seizure which is his 2nd in 2 years, Chris cannot obtain his license at this time. He's truly disappointed because he feels that since he's having troubles gaining employment at least he could have some independence by being able to drive. Chris is still a work in progress. We appreciate all that are still following us on this journey and everyone's support and prayers.
