• Hezbollah via Egypt has warned that they will attack if Gaza is attacked from the ground, Israel will have to deal with a massive Gaza war and a Lebanon war without ammo stocks and with the US stretched thin
• Netanyahu is fucked pretty hard after this, I expect secular Israelis to be pissed this Orthodox loving govemrent kept pissing Muslims off until they raided their homes and took their families to Gaza and blew out their second largest powerplant.
• IDF is claiming that a war on Gaza will take hundreds of thousands of new recruits, Netanyahu promised in a Hebrew speech that Gaza will be razed to the ground in revenge.
• High tech gear like tanks, missile batteries and monitoring devices in a border, proven to be useless if you overran them with cheap shit like Aliexpress drones and rubber boats and paragliders, a half a million dollar a pop iron dome missile (probably is even more expensive, too lazy to Google rn) spent on a 1000$ Hamas backyard rocket is not a good attrition strategy.
• Saudi Arabia has condemned Israel for provoking this, another massive defeat in the American foreign policy, America lost the biggest player to the middle east to a fat fuck journalist, I expect the same over India.
• I don't think the US will support a Israeli attack on Iran at this time since they are without money or weapons to give them.
• Israel will have probably a week of war in Gaza to say "mission accomplished!" Until the UN and the West demands a ceasefire.

9/11 wasn't a failure for the Intel spooks, if anything it was quite the glowing success.

A better comparison I've been seeing is the Tet Offensive. The US Military was under the impression the Viet Cong were spent and couldn't make any offensive actions, then they unleashed an offensive of unprecedented proportions that failed on a military level, but inflicted heavy losses and gains initially and crushed all the propaganda and narrative building that allowed America to sustain the Vietnam War to that point.

this is the most wrong statement you could make, most civilian conscripts are not only more professionals more mature and better trained israeli much like korea has every man in combat field do reserve duty every year for around a month and more elite units even 2-3 months so no the civilian conscripts are usually better than the current soldiers

Some sources say that the Hamas militants who took territory and positions have long retreated and the ones currently holding said positions are the second wave, the less trained, less experience and less well equipped. Hamas may have known that an attack on Gaza was likely and planned for their better troops to return ASAP after taking as much as they could. There's been reports that they were sending more of this "second wave" even 30 minutes to an hour ago.

It's important not to trust anything too much, though.
