General Wrestling Discussion

German women are dog rough compared to British women
Lena Gercke is damn fine for a blonde. Can't think of any other female wrestlers from Germany other than Alpha Female and I've seen only one good photo of her, and Winter from TNA who wasn't bad. Apparently that tall useless brown woman TNA was also from Germany and there's nothing good about her. Even in 2020 she still looked like shit and couldn't wrestle after like 9 years in the business. Then again to date she's had under 100 matches in 12 years.

It's a worse reaction when you consider All In/Wembley isn't an outlier, but standard operating procedure for the Cokehead.

How many PPVs in AEW's existence have had this issue? It seems like to be a regular occurance these days, where you don't get 90-95% of the matches for an AEW PPV booked until like a week before the actual PPV.

And the current excuse being peddles as of the last couple of days is that Tony was planning on running Bryan Danielson vs Kenny Omega for the main event and that Tony's inaction is due to him being a fuckhead throwing a tantrum that Bryan got hurt and can't manipulate the dope into working injured against Omega; resulting in him having to abort plans for the Elite and break glass on the FTR/Bucks as the centerpiece of the show (rather than Cole/MJF) and rapidly losing interest in the PPV since he can't have his snowflake match between Kenny and Bryan.
Shut up, nigger.

With Hollywood currently shut down, John Cena will be making an appearance on the 9/1 episode of Smackdown and at a live event in India on the 8th.

Jaymie Hayter, even though she's put on a little weight she still looks fine.
Only thing worse than a woman liking manlets like Anna Jay are women who liked to be blacked like Julia Hart, or women who do drugs like Saraya. If your woman can bench press you without much effort you can't call yourself a man.
You forgot Jade Cargill and Keis Statlander exist.

Shut up, nigger.
My brother in Christ, I get that Noir being the thread schizo gets you irrationally angry, but if he rustles your jimmies that much just use the fucking Ignore feature so you don't see his posts.

Speaking of Stupid Shit - per a coworker who pays more attention to WWE than I do outside of the 'Mania build, Jey Uso is now listed as an Alumni. They kayfabeing us, or are we going to have to deal with Wrestletubers going on a Bucks v Usos watch...

I spent the night at a bar with three other dudes who watched during the Monday night wars, one of em was the bartender.

He ended up putting on a nitro from 97. Fucking comfy.

That was really a great video promo. Just so good. The production value, what he said, how he said it, just so freaking good. And when you look at it, revealing that he knows about Seth being injured is kind of trivial but it's so effective. It doesn't have some complicated stuff with dozens of layers. AEW should take a note here.

I really liked yesterday's Raw. Ciampa did a good video promo, Seth response to Nakamura was great, Miz vs Tozawa was hilarious, LA Knight throwing tissues at Miz was even more hilarious, they keep me interested in the Judgement Day stuff bc they threw that JD guy in, the Imperium vs Alpha Academy stuff is great and the things I don't care for don't annoy me (Becky vs Trish, MacRiddle vs New Day vs the Viking guys). And I'm really glad they didn't just strip Chelsea off the tag team titles and started a new tournament for them or so. I see potential in her and Piper teaming up although the match wasn't really good but it didn't last that long so who gives a fuck. The best thing is I get to see more Chelsea Green which is good bc she is ridicously good in her role.

Overall I'm enjoying Raw a lot over the last couple of weeks.

There's a new wrestling doc series coming to Netflix. Seems to be about current day OVW and Al Snow. Could be good, or atrocious.

Raw's been more watchable than the Bloodline crap.

If their intention was working us into thinking Jey left for real, someone vetoed the approach as Jey is booked to show up on Friday. So Jey's peaced out for just a free week lmao. Honestly they should have sent him to Raw, there is no point in continuing his involvement in Bloodline crap.

Triple H has really hit his stride as a booker over the last 6 or so months I think. Giving both shows their own cast of main characters for the main event with a very solid midcard is working out really well. Twitter freaks will bitch about the women not getting the most time on the card, but I don't see how they can be utilized better tbh. They have like 4 or 5 legitimate stars in the women's division, and Rhea is constantly featured in main event segments. WWE is just white hot right now.

Shit on Impact as I do - mostly for the lulTNA days, they've gotten less retarded over the years - ever since they found out what lane they need to stay in, they've been remarkably consistent as a show. They may only have crowds of in the hundreds, if that, but they make it work, and the smaller crowds work for them because I haven't seen a bad crowd for them since I started watching again.

They truly are Wrestling's DSP, and I'll laugh if they outlive AEW.

I very rarely run into Impact fans these days but the ones I do always describe it just as you did: a respectable wrestling show that knows its strengths and plays to them. Impact fans: I acknowledge you.
