I don't know how much stock to put into the pop-theory idea that it was a self-portrait, but it would certainly explain some things. That and "mona" is sort of an equivalent to "it's ma'am".

If you look at digital 'restorations' of Mona based on laser scans of the original painting, there's much less ambiguity in the image. I personally don't put much stock in the self portrait theory.
 
I really can't get my mind around the way these males absolutely loathe women, but are still desperate to be one. When I hate something I want to be as far away from it as possible, not literally wearing its skin like Buffalo Bill.

I think in these cases it really is as simple as envy. They are not even envious of something real. They want to be a succubus stuck in a coom loop.
The fact that these women don't even have to try to be women they just are while they can try as hard as they can but they cant have must be madnenning.

This one's post history is mostly belligerent obnoxious garbage, typically involving calling someone various insults and telling them to "check their privilege" (deadass using this phrase in the year of our lord 2023 :story:) while not actually arguing too much with any kind of logic or reason to back up anything he says. He also hates on other men for "toxic masculinity" while being somehow oblivious to the fact that threatening to assault women in bathrooms and use your maleness (sorry... "amab puberty") as an advantage is the apotheosis of toxic masculinity. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets.set off by a woman merely glancing in his general direction based off how aggressive his post history is.

Misogynistic narcissists like him don't have an aversion to women as much as a desire to subjugate and control us. Their sense of entitlement and ownership over women's bodies extends to the concept of womanhood itself now. Narcissists crave admiration, attention, and special treatment by definition, and trooning out gives them all of that.

Unlike other idpol identities, trooning doesn't require being born with it or doing icky stuff like fucking the same sex; it gives otherwise boring, generic, white, middle class suburban males a key into the pool of Oppressed social capital, where your violent fantasies can be repackaged as "progressive" and fueled by righteous anger instead of antisocial misogyny.

And if women point out that this kind of behavior is exactly why we don't want them in women's spaces, we deserve the assault! Regardless of the fact a cis woman behaving in the same manner would be told to get the fuck out too, because this is not how civilized people act.

Meet Theodore "Tiffany" Howell. I can't imagine he's doing a lot of smirking now, as a few days ago he was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sending death threats to a judge and his probation officer, who he decided were "transphobic". He used his own phone to send death threats via text, and his own email address when sending more threats via the police department's website. What a dumbass.
