We're getting the Cliff's notes version. He was probably told how often to clean it, how often to apply whatever he was given, how to protect the wound, to come back in X days so the healing can be checked, and to come back immediately if A, B, or C happens. How often do any of us relay every single detail of a doctor's visit? Most often we reduce it to "gave me a prescription" or "gave me a referral".

I think he'll admit that it's a wound just to get people off his back. But don't fool yourself for a second and think that he isn't going to make it a vagina again, because he really really wants it to be a vagina. I was always afraid Chris would neuter himself. He's not far off. I think this counts as genital mutilation, or the next worst thing. It looks to me like he's past the point of it simply healing and scarring a little. Short of cosmetic surgery, this is a permanent disfigurement that seems to only be getting worse.

It might be aesthetically unpleasing, but unless it affects function then scar revision is in the non-essential category. It's in an area no-one but Chris is ever going to see. There's not a whole lot of point in doing surgery for purely cosmetic reasons on someone who sucks at wound care.
Really? Their comments on their channel seem to be very tongue in cheek.

I have a feeling he did not go to the doctor either. If Chris did not go to the doctor, eventually he will realize that it is just a wound and seek medical help or let it heal over with an ugly scar. I still cannot get over the Amneyfest ring, we have not seen that thing forever. You can tell his frame of mind when he was showing it off, thinking that was the only way his gal-pals from high school would recognize him when his taint ended up on the cover People magazine. Chris uses that ring like Batman uses the Bat-Signal except the shadow of a bat would be replaced by an attractive female shadow or the words, "Hey Gal-Pals, Remember me from Manchester High, I am one of you now." (Not role playing, just trying to elicit a visual image)

Wasn't chris actively helping this wound along via razorblade/knife? If that's true, he was literally cutting himself a snatch. That's more horrifying than an abscess burrowing into him, on a psychological level.

We have no idea what Chris was doing to the wound between when it first appeared on 15 July and when the photos were taken. We don't know whether he just made up his own care routine, Googled advice on how to care for it, or what. We do know that he doesn't claim to have seen a doctor until several days after its appearance, though.
As far as "surely he wouldn't" goes, there are plenty of videos on youtube of people doing "self-surgery". He could definitely have come across those if he was after information on wound care, but if he didn't initially recognise it as a wound then he had no reason to go looking for such information.

Just arrived on the scene and didn't feel up to reading a full 94 pages about the horrifying state of Chris's taint, but given that most of us don't want him to die (yet) and getting him to actively go to a doctor and SHOW it to them is pretty necessary for his long-term survival outlook (and it's kind of dubious that he actually did that, because ointment alone ain't gonna cut it), can't one of his handlers talk him into getting his very first gynecological exam for his brand-new magic pussy? Make it sound like a whole right-of-passage, 'yay, you're a real girl!' thing?
I mean, sucks for the gynecologist who unsuspectingly ends up face-to-face with that, but at least they'd have an idea what they're looking at and wouldn't just be relying on Chris's jibberish for a diagnosis.

The fact that this thing broke out on the 15th sounds unlikely to me, I think Chris has been dealing with this thing for a long time (since he got the taint piercing) and has been slowly trying to nurture it. I know people may not agree with me, but I think that Chris was dealing with this since Unclit 1.0 and sort of started messing with it until he could find an appropriate time to spring it on his loyal fans and get the attention of paparazzi. Or maybe he just thought the videos would turn his potential hole into a vagina. If you think about it, it is no coincidence that he changed his name legally in May and announced that Lovecraftian nightmare the same day that he uploaded his new "feminine" ID.
Now that things have cooled some, what worries me is that this entire fame and sweetheart thing started with the attraction sign and has slowly evolved over the years to be something more embarrassing or disgusting than the previous incarnation. Though he may not drop the Tomgirl, I have a feeling he will start a new sub-saga that will be more frightening or dangerous than the previous. Please, everyone, stop messaging this poor person, his plan failed and I think he may need to be left alone for a while. (at least until the tugboat runs dry and he starts begging)
