Haha I see he has abandoned any pretense of cooking all his meals at home.

TL;dr Boogie is in the best place he's been in for years for real this time, things are definitely different this time guys. He learned from his trip that he's been taking himself and life too seriously so he's done with that, he's having lots of fun and is glad to be alive every day. Also his YouTube views are going up/he's making money/he's losing weight, and he thinks the audience should be able to see how he's changed already.

I don't know about you all, but I'm convinced!
 
If you'd actually taken a heroic dose of shrooms, had a profound ego-death experience (which doesn't happen often) and looked at your own 450lb body, I'll bet you anything that you wouldn't be stuffing your face with pizza and other disgusting takeout foods literally days after it. You also wouldn't be casually sitting in a chair, chatting with people around you and guzzling down copious amounts of Mountain Dew during such an intense trip. A lot of Boogie's talk about the topic rings hollow and seems more like that good old trope of his, where he retells other peoples' experiences or greatly embellishes his own. This is the same dude that had the gull to claim that actual God directly spoke to him, and that wasn't enough to change his life for the better, but he expects people to believe that this light shroom trip will.

Wings is already backpedaling on the fight. He just said he's "not officially committed [to the fight]" and he's "waiting until [he] has a contract in front of [him] to fully commit". He's working his way up to pussing out, like he always does.

I wanna be optimistic and say he started out like normally intelligent but being terminally online for so long and he just don't know how to act like a functioning adult any longer.

I'm an old man. Old enough to have taken Tim Scully/Nick Sand's Orange Sunshine back in the very early 70's. Back then, the average tab of acid contained about 100 mcg. Each of those Sunshine tablets contained at least 300 mcg. They were barrel shaped, and dealers would slice up the barrel into four disks, and sell each of the disks as a tab. And people were happy with the quarter dose.

So, I've never done shrooms, but I have done heroic doses of acid. I've been through that whole ego loss experience on repeated occasions (though it's really just the first time that's transformative IMO.) You come to grasp certain eternal truths about the nature of the universe and our place in it -- and you grasp it at some profound, deep level. Things that have been articulated by many of the great mystics and the big world religions. It changes you. Not necessarily for ever, but it's impossible, I believe to go through the whole process of ego death and accompanying insights, without acquiring some humility.

When other people have been through that process, you can recognize the changes it induces in them. I see no evidence whatsoever that Boogie has gone through that process at all. He wouldn't know ego death if it bit him on the arse.

If he took shrooms at all, he was microdosing. If Boogie really took the kind of doses that provide that kind of insight into who he is and his place in the world, at the very least he'd shut the fuck up for a few months and be embarrassed about the utter shite that he talks online. And more likely, he'd take that revolver that he used to intimidate Frank Hassle and blow his fat, pointless brains out.

I just watched the newest Lummox video and Wings mentioned they're trying to get Kelly a passport for the event which is in May. For that reason I don't think this fight will happen. I did a little digging online and I guess the passport process has been a big issue since Covid started.

Boogie and Kelly both don't have passports at this time. I recently had a family member, and a close friend who applied for a passport and both have been waiting months and months to get theirs issued. (Both of them are first time passport owners, neither are renewals). One of them applied in early October, submitted all the travel details for a March 3rd departure date, and still waited 5 months for it. The only way she was granted one was to reach out to the congressman over and over until it was issues yesterday, just a few days before the trip.

The other person applied in late December for a May departure date and still has no word on when its arriving. I renewed mine in 2019, even paid the crazy expedited charges to still have it not arrive in time, back then you were allowed to drive down to the nearest passport agency (only 2 of them in all of CA) and was issued it the same day. Apparently they do not offer that service anymore.

Please let me know if you know of anyone having a better experience than that, but passports will for sure be an issue.

If you have travel within 2 weeks you are supposed to make an appointment at the passport agency. If you have extreme circumstances like a family emergency, you can make a next day appointment. The agency is for same-day passports when the normal service isn't fast enough, so if you submit it normally, and it's not ready in time, you go through the agency.
 
Hi all, I'm a bit late to this but wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mike Clum, I'm currently in production on a documentary regarding boogie2988.

The purpose of the documentary is to explore his life, as well as put him through a variety of challenges and unique situations to test his character and show people the "real" boogie.

Someone told me about the comment threads made about our short livestream as well as the project overall. So I came to check and made an account. I wasn't familiar with this website until now.

I would love to get your feedback and thoughts about boogie for the film, and perhaps we can even include some of you if you might be interested in being interviewed. We are still in production and releasing the film on YouTube in the summer.

Just to be clear, the film is not financed by boogie, but entirely by me. As some of you pointed out, I've been running successful businesses for the past 10 years and mostly in the content space (e-commerce, video services, etc.) I wanted to start a new venture that was purely for entertainment content and making premium long form content which I felt there was an online market for. We're working on a handful now, and one of them is Boogie2988 among other more prominent figures and topics. We did not pay Boogie to be involved nor is he paying us, this work is entirely separate from my production business Clum Creative.

Anyways... In the spirit of telling Boogie's story...
1) What is this group and what role does it play in Boogie's story?
2) Who should I speak to to best capture your side of the story?
3) Would any of you be interested in speaking to me or to Boogie directly for the film?
