I noticed this a few years ago, the internet has allowed self perpetuating cults to form. There is no one leader pushing this and corraling all the dissident members, they do it on their own following a circle of thought leaders who aren't even connected in different flavors with the same messages. So there's not even a target you can arrest that would allow this nonsense to fade.
I don't know. Troons are so fucking obnoxious, they deserve all the flak they get, however the best way to deal with them - because they're ALL narcissistic twats - consists of completely ignoring them (aside from passively observing the troon's insanity) and giving them a corny oneliner as a response. Nothing angers the troon more than a lack of attention. Besides, I think courts have (at least SHOULD have) better things to do than being forced to waste time on troons.
Nobody cares if they lose their friendship to a psychotic chronically online loser that smells of cheese. I would never befriend anyone who tried to control me.
