Local Libraries are such a hub for freaks, my goodness. A local autist who walks all around town jibber-jabbering to himself, somehow doesn’t require a handler. is at the library browsing, quiet, acting like a normal human being. I don’t bother to look up from my workstation when I hear the electric pencil sharpener go for a few seconds. Then a few seconds later it kicks up again. And happens again. I don’t bother to look up, even when I hear the librarian ask “Do you need some pencils sharpened?” Retard offers that he decided to sharpen all the small pencils he could find in the bin. Librarian tells him that is disruptive to have all the pencils sharpened right now, we can take care of that behind the desk. “Would you like to color right now?” Pretty sure my amused smirk was deafening.
The kind librarian with a young face and danger hair, totally gray and long and shaved up the side, probably some blue or purple highlights or something, is kindly h elping a woman reserve a study room. Some older man, squishy face with tall with white hair, literally walks up to them and starts snapping in the air. Librarian is confused, and when he starts to talk it’s obvious he is another autist out without his tard wrangler. She interrupts his weird speech to firmly state that she is helping someone else right now. He mumbles a sorry and saunters off to the computer. As soon as she is done helping her, he raises his arm from the nearby computer and snaps his fingers at her. Librarian who is too nice for her own good visibly sighs and rolls her eyes, and walks over to him. He tries to explain he needs help logging in, soething about, get the computer to work for me, lady. Once he’s logged in, he’s been sitting here laughing at shit online in that way only old autists do when they chuckle. And he won’t fucking stop. Libaries aren’t quiet fucking places anymore where we can kick the screaming screeching or loud giggly autists out for breaking the rules we all had to follow. At least they keep the homeless from taking over, usually the second they are loud or nod or doze off security asks t hem to leave. It’s something, I suppose.
