My name is Hugo Carvalho and I'm the CEO of DiamWall, today I'm bringing an important statement that I never thought I would need to do anytime soon.

About our CDN...​


Before even starting to talk about Kiwi Farms I think it is important to let people know what a CDN is and does.
We are only a proxy that filters website traffic and blocks malicious requests, we DO NOT host any website, we ARE NOT responsible for any website's content and we CANNOT control every service's content.
Everyone is free to register an account at our website, pay for the product and start using it. We DO NOT and CANNOT analyze every single website that starts using our services.
DiamWall is completely new in this market (we opened to the public one month ago) and this is not a good way to start for sure, nor is it the way that we wanted to start.
DiamWall was formed by a small group of people that worked for many years in this area with private customers and we created the best Anti-DDoS technologies that ever existed.

Now that you understand how it works, let's talk about Kiwi Farms...
The owner of Kiwi Farms came in need of DDoS Protection and because their website was offline due to DDoS, we didn't really know about their website's content. They had a PROBLEM and we had the SOLUTION.
Soon enough the reports started to arrive and we started digging more and more about this website, soon enough we found that Kiwi Farms hosts a lot of revolting content.

We do not think that is fair to terminate any service because of public pressure but in this case, we think there is some foundation behind all those requests and we really do not want to have anything to do with it.

So, after careful consideration, DiamWall does not feel like Kiwi Farms is a good fit for our company, which means that today we are SUSPENDING their service inside DiamWall's CDN.

Please be AWARE that this will not fix the issue, only delay it, they will find another provider that can protect them and will be online once again.

For real though, at this point there's little hope left in me that things will return to relative normal. Even with Keffal's dirty laundry flapping in the wind there's nothing to be done. Nobody cares about this degeneracy anymore. It's fucking tiring.

And you know the real fucker of it? These useless companies likely won't be punished by the market because even in 2022, everybody continues on under the delusion "well, that will never happen to me because it only happens to bad guys".

Someday they'll wake up in a dystopian totalitarian nightmare of their own creation and still be too myopic to realize they had anything to do with it.

It's crazy because it wasn't that long ago that nerds in this field were 100% all-in on protecting and justifying just any anything and everything on a Wild West-style internet.
Then I remember when that hackerspace I was a founding member of (tho I'm not anything of a hacker in that sense) decided it wanted to stop using the term "hacker" and "hackerspace" due to negative connotations. Oh, great. I don't think it was a coincidence that it proved its lifespan was 80% over (ie. is dead now).

It's just been this last decade that the internet lost its balls, decided it was a woman all along I guess. Unfortunately that 41% is coming to haunt it.

And maybe Null shouldn't do victory laps shouting out the names of the companies helping him, because that surely doesn't hurt the attempts of the brigaders from finding them to set a target. I mean, they would anyway, but no sense in making it easy.

It wouldn't matter anyways if he did or didn't because the company logo splashes on the screen whenever there was a DDOS attack.
 
Watching supposedly "neutral" and/or "freedom respecting" service providers capitulate so quickly to professional victims, busybodies, and complainers on Twitter, to no visible or tangible benefit to themselves (as doubtless none of the Twitter complainers were ever planning on actually using DiamWall beforehand), is, to put it very lightly, a rather illuminating experience.

Imagine how powerful a company would be if it just had balls and didn't cuck to internet tattletales and social media hall monitors.
