This thread is inspired by Peppa pig becoming pozzed. With it introducing same-sex couples. Then it hit me. There's alot of children's media nowadays that are just plain pozzed.

Arthur has the homeroom teacher turning gay. Then you have Sesame street introducing a gay muppet, and then you have Blues Clues, with a literal gay parade celebrating troons with the singer being a literal troon. Not helping that the whole segment is done by a youtuber "Queer kid stuff".

Its a given that Tumblr was a mistake. Since alot of rot today stems from that place (and in turn from the pozzed institutions). The question is now, how do you plan on raising a kid in this modern Soddom and Gomorrah? Because for me, its gonna be the following.

-Make sure the school they go to isn't pozzed. Alternatively, homeschool them.
-Keep them off the internet till they're old enough to drink
-No smart phones if possible.
-If I have to use an electronic to shut em up, I make sure the electronic has kids shows that I know isn't out to turn them gay or degenerate.

So, what are your takes?

Hopefully you have a strong community around you that can help provide a stable and normative environment for them to grow up in.

Alternatively you could try escaping to a less-poz'd environment like Utah. Or maybe move all the way to somewhere like Hungary or Chile. Or go to Japan like Pewdiepie did. Maybe Moldova. You could help rebuild Ukraine. Botswana is fun to say, maybe it would be fun to live there too.

A major thing any current parent should do is heavily restrict internet access for your kids. Maybe, if you're technical enough make a local archive of decent websites, and monitor access to a select few things like online games. This may only be for early years before the teens, being this restrictive that long will lead to resentment. It would get much tougher at this point to do so anyways. The best thing here is to educate them as much as possible on what not to do online. Though encouraging the use of the internet only on a pc and giving your kid as dumb a phone is still available could be done.

I think the biggest thing is that you have to be willing to ruthlessly cut ties to keep bad influences out of your kid's life. The internet is easy to unplug, but you have to be prepared to say "You can't be friends with that other kid anymore", "You're going to a new school now", or even "We're moving to another city/state/country".
In the cases I'm personally familiar with, the internet is already fully locked down, and the bad influences are mostly other kids from weird, abusive environments.

And for the love of God, make sure your marriage is ironclad. Put in the ongoing work to keep it strong, because if you ever get divorced, culture war issues are very easy to weaponize, either by one parent against another or by a wayward child playing them against each other.

a bit of powerleveling here.

My brother has a son, and he raised him mostly on shows from most of the 20th century, which he has on his hard drives, because he and his wife don't watch regular TV anymore. And he also does not let him on the Internet and if he does, only under very strict super vision.

He is not necessarily someone you would call a conservative, but even he knows that there are certain things going on right now, that Children need to be protected from.

I have a two-year-old. I maintain my own Plex Media Server and will continue to do so throughout his childhood. I pirate some stuff and StreamFab other stuff from legitimately subscribed streaming services and dump it on my media server so that I don't have to look at the woke shit, and assuming woke is still around as he grows up, he won't either. His favorite show is Blues Clues but he has never even seen that faggot Josh. It is Steve all the way, and to a lesser extent, Joe.
Also I get out of the house with him. Gymboree isn't woke, and neither is the park. Walks aren't woke. buying ice cream isn't woke, unless you count the rainbow sprinkles.
The museum is a little woke, but not too bad. There is an exhibit that says niggers are less likely to get wrinkles (to which my wife said "yeah, on their brain") That is the extent of my local museum's wokeness.

Just lead by example. Until the internet is destroyed, inshallah, you have to just show them the way without browbeating.

Kids are chaos. You have nowhere near the control over them anyone assumes you do and this is true throughout time. All you can do is your best and be the people you want them to grow up to be.

Not everyone can homeschool. Keep a hawk's eye on your school board and your library and city council. It really does come down to local politics.
I think there needs to be more homeschooling groups who have been background checked and know their shit. This is how it generally works once the kids are too old for most parents to specialize in all academic areas. Like someone has a degree in English/Precalculus/Biology/Foreign Language/etc and can teach the kids to the AP/CLEP test.

Nicely done. While we're on the subject, any recommended shows? Because the only ones I know aren't woke (from rewatch) are Japanese puppet shows like Galaxy Bomber/Starfleet and Kamen Rider.

That's true. Raising a kid is a gamble. Because plenty of lolcows here technically should come out 'normal' but became the wrecks they are due to bad decisions in general. Though its fair to say that upbringing still mitigates some of that damage.

Teachers unions have a vested interest in preventing that, and the majority of American "teachers" should be lined up against the wall and shot for crimes against humanity and cruel and unusual punishment for being complete and utter garbage at their job while demanding to fail upwards paywise. Plus, the standardized testing for most states is braindead retarded.

The only thing the government should be required is the ability to speak, read and write, the ability to do basic math. Anything else should* be dependent on the drive and ambition of child and parent. Also many states levy what I consider an asinine requirement of "X amount of hours a year"; like bitch, if my kids retarded then they're gonna need more time, and if they're a genus they can go fuck off and learn to code wield or some shit.

Do you want to guess which states are the most heavily regulated on this shit? It's Pennsylvania and NY, Pennsylvania requires you to refile every fucking year, and immunization even for fucking homeschooling, log all your work, and keep a god damn portfolio.

*That would imply people are responsible, and the regular person is unfortunately anything but.

There's a reason that the classical education consists of Rhetoric (logic), arithmetic, music and art. The first two are nessisary to function in society and become a greater person, the latter two cannot be taught effectively past a certain age and are introspection in to the soul, for one ought not play music/paint for others.

That really depends on the age of the kid. Most shows from the 90's and early 00's aren't really woke, they are just progressive for the time. My son mostly watches the first 6 seasons of blue's clues, blue's room, barney, the bear in the big blue house, and some sesame street.
Also take a look at this short video from when lamb chop visited sesame street in 1996, it will really put the decade into perspective.

Unironically, don't hide shit from them. Expose them to the horrors of this modern world, teach them why it's wrong, and then focus on making them strong enough to handle it. Never slack in teaching them anything. Don't raise them to simply "fit in," raise them to overcome all of the brainwashed muttlets they'll surely encounter in their childhood. Make them engage in physical fitness activities and the martial arts, make them learn the sciences, and classical philosophies. Don't let them miss out on a single chance to grow stronger. Reward every one of their successes with the fullest measure of your ability, and struggle to put them on the right path after every failing. Foremost is to put yourself in the shoes they'll be wearing years from now. Don't ever lose sight of the fact that their world will be far harsher than the one you grew up in, and the only thing you can really do is prepare them for that.

One of the most important things is to speak to them, listen, and love them. Never forget that they desire affection and acceptance, just as all do. If you do not give them this, they will seek it from those around them, and because of the state of the world, most of those around them are people like those whom have threads here.

I've been thinking about this recently. I don't have kids and won't until another 3-4 years, but when I do I'm thinking about raising them in a church community - nothing serious, just going to church 2-3x a month. I am personally not religious and am mostly against organized religion, but I can't deny that going to choir practice with kids ages 4-14, attending at church every Sunday, and going on church community excursions was beneficial. I was able to interact with adults that aren't directly family but acted as such, I met with kids that weren't the same age as me and learned how to navigate being around them, and it taught me how to shut the fuck up and sit still for a couple hours.
I think wokeness has spread rapidly because of the rising agnosticism in the western sphere, especially in America. Church provides a community that isn't your direct family and school/work and acts as a good third space. With faith dwindling, something needed to fill the void, and I think wokeness did that. It mirrors a religion quite well too (mantras, the concept of souls, "priests" in forms of protected groups, shunning disbelievers, repentance when you sin).

dude, take this from someone who started late... if your relationship is good, don't wait. toddlers are a lot easier to wrangle at 25 than 35. You also want to reduce the chances of autism from older eggs and sperm (which is compounded by posting on Kiwi Farms) and you want your adult child to know you as long as possible into his and/or her adulthood

An answer to this question is certainly obvious, but I believe that it pertains to something baser and troubling: what will we - or what will I do when the falsehood, theft, robbery, and murder that’s
now rampant, and for the shameless lechery and adultery boasted and broadcast, becomes absolutely inconsolable with Christian behavior and, inexorably sewn into contemporary lifestyles?

Church was the backbone of the US. It was also the thing that kept people together and subdued to a degree. The moment the US dropped the crucifix for a cock and Christ for a coomer, that was when Clownworld really ramped up. Because at the very least, religious people are bound to their dogma. Usually they don't do reprehensive things because they're afraid that they'll get punished for it in the afterlife. Or something terrible will float their way. Part of the reason why most social justice types act the way they do is because they're atheist and don't believe in anything punishing them for their actions. Something that is echoed in the USSR. In fact, Yuri Bezmenov outright said (based on his colleague's work) that the best way to get society back from subversion is to get them back into religion.

Can't hate yourself when God told you not to. Not gonna start fucking like mad because God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Animal fucking? There's literally a declaration where both fucked and fucker is put to death. Now I know that the Christian faith is fairly compromised right now because of the Vatican being compromised as well as interpreting the book can be tricky as there's definitely laws made for that time. But at this state, you are legit better off reading the holy book yourself and establishing that relationship between you and God. That and religion has a way of bringing people together. Just beware who is out to kill you for holding those beliefs.

Do exactly what the Christians did in Rome. Which was ISIS-tier shit especially if you actually read the bible.
