Anyone else see these kinds of posts and get an almost overwhelming urge to identify as nonbinary on the internet, just to get away with more shit? It's literally so easy, all you have to do is put they/them in your profile. No required medical treatments, no acting, no threshold to meet beyond a simple statement of gender identity. Everyone who dislikes you now has to go through the song and dance of consciously referring to you correctly, and no one can say you're faking because then you can call them a transphobe.

But actually more - at the beginning of 2022 the local laws changed over here, so you can literally just tell the Government that you're now the other gender, pay an administrative fee (~80$), choose a new name and you're done.
I'm now legally female, and more and more people are starting to use this for legal benefits (like earlier retirement)
It's bureaucratic lunacy - but hey whatever, I now get swing the banhammer for every missgendering I get online
