🤝 Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

Because you're too slow to follow along I must be a troll.

Turns out the entire Archie issue hangs on euthanisa being illegal in the UK but so long as brain stem death can be determined life support is legally allowed to be withdrawn.
"The Court is bound by Airedale NHS v Bland [1993] AC 789 which makes clear the legal criteria for death is brain stem death"
- interesting because the case was of a boy who was not brain stem dead...

I reread the High Court judgement and this part caught me eye:
"Dr P was asked if the necrosis would continue and he said that there was probably not much more that could occur."
The statement is because at that level most patients are already deceased or just about but if his medical opinion is one that the necrosis is actually stable isn't that favourable to Archie remaining plugged in? As in the brain stem won't continue to rot away further?

Nice derailing, are you going to get a reprimand?

If someone places emphasis on medical professionals and the opinion of brain death / necrosis etc one should also understand there is a working definition of "death" in healthcare.

Attached is from Ontario standards but it's likely very similar to England's.

I'm just gonna enhance something real quick

For real though, don't be a daft and/or disingenuous cunt. The pdf you posted that out-of-context snippet from is about Ontario procedures and care standards for paramedics. The link is here for any sperg who cares. It is only defining "deceased" for the purposes of giving paramedics an indication of how to proceed on arrival, not arguing semantics about the meaning of "dead". What we are discussing has fuck all to do with paramedics, there is no indication they dropped the ball here and Hollie never suggested they did. If you read it properly you'd already know the general protocol is always to try and resuscitate anyone without vital signs who doesn't have a valid documented DNR available or Termination of Resuscitation order from a hospital doctor, with the only exceptions being where it would be absurdly ridiculous, like digging up a 50 year old corpse or a guy who fell headfirst into a woodchipper. It doesn't mean the person they're trying to save isn't obviously fucked, or address anything about continued futile treatment in hospital when brain death has been established, in its proper context this is literally just saying that if they kinda look like they're mostly in one piece that paramedics have a duty to initiate CPR in Ontario, which could not possibly be less relevant. Unlike the judge's ruling, which you don't seem to have read.

I really love when retards quote shit completely out of context when they haven't read 90% of their own source, don't understand the parts they did, and act like it's solidly supporting their gross misinterpretation of facts. I suggest you check out reddit, they eat that shit up.

You haven’t defined death either. You linked to a bunch of legal stuff (Google diving yields more legal stuff) and started ranting about the heart. Can you link to actual medical definitions?
The most simplistic definition is the presence of ongoing cellular metabolism, as in metabolizing nutrients to extract ATP, but if you're talking about multicellular organisms with complex organ systems, the key criteria are integration of these systems. In other words, the organs need to be chemically communicating with each other to work toward a common goal. This function goes out of the window with brain death, since the central nervous system is the key coordinator of integration in all higher animals. So yes, Archie is dead and this is the reason why brain death is considered death. You can take a person's organs and transplant them into other people (including their blood) but even though these organs would obviously retain their metabolic qualities, they would not be coordinated anymore.

So yeah, that's why brain death is death.

The whole "is he dead" argument is pointless, the law on these matters is clear. Children are not extentions of their parents, they are individuals and are treated legally as such in relation to their welfare.

Sometimes, very sadly, parents act in a way which is not in their child's best interests. The law in every constituent part of the UK places the needs of the child paramount. Is it in Archie's best interests to lie in a hospital bed, brain dead, his circulatory system sustained by machines alone and with no chance of recovery? The High Court says no. If there was even the remotest chance of this kid recovering then this thread wouldn't be near him because his consultants wouldn't be thinking about ending life support.

Oh no... Has it been a week already? The farms were so much nicer... Look idiot just....stop it stop trolling. We aren't that type of fourm. This is not the place to troll... Go on over to reddit or youtube go bug them....

@Driedsoap Just for informational purposes... are you in the UK? Are you usually resident here?

Judging by your inanity of using Ontario statutes, I'd guess not. I'm sure you are aware, that each country and jurisdiction, have different yet similar ways of proving brain death (i.e. no hope of recovery, you are dead. Double dead once the machines are off) and that your idiotic rambling about "how Ontario doesn't show this as death" is boring.

So I will make it VERY clear to you...

  1. Archie is NOT in Ontario.
  2. Archie's medical team, do not work under Ontario rulings or jurisdictions
  3. Archie is in the UK
  4. Archie's medical team is bound by the Code of Conduct I have shown you to show brain death. He has not passed any of these, ergo he is dead.
  5. Archie cannot breathe or have blood pumped round his body by his own processes, as the parts of the brain that do that, are dead.
  6. Therefore, when Archie is not on a machine, he is dead dead.
  7. He has, in all probability, been dead dead for at least a month.
  8. Legally, he has been dead for 2 weeks.
  9. The medically trained consultant specialists (i.e. these guys know their shit) know that he is dead dead
  10. His mother does not believe this because she is a narcissistic chavvy cunt with hints of MBP
  11. She is using her dead child for attention, and, right now, gibs
  12. Just to reiterate.... ARCHIE. IS. DEAD.
There is no coming back. His brain is rotting in his body. His body has refused nourishment and is decomposing - note he cannot tolerate feeds as they either cause mass urine outputs or mass diarrhoea. The parts of his brain that deal with respiratory/circulatory/gastrointestinal - have rotted, and are rotting. The consultant said himself, you would find this damage peri- or post-mortem.

Give it the fuck up already, you spergy useless waste of a brain . None of what you are attempting to spout is in the remotest chance applicable here - He is not in Ontario, he is the UK. A High Court Judge AND a team of specialists who KNOW UK jurisdiction and Codes of Conduct, have declared him dead dead dead. Let it go already

I'm starting to wonder if this mother deserves her own thread? Considering Archie isn't exactly a tard, just dead, and this woman is clearly something else

These people are so painfully stupid, my god. “He needs food to get his strength up”. Yep, I’m sure that’s all his liquified brain needs, calories… that’ll sort him right out.
"Chicken soup will fix em right up! That's what my parents did and I'm only mildly retarded!"
This is why I think his mother may have legitimately roided him.
Good point. She seems immoral enough to have done this to him. Anabolic steroids increase suicide risk in grown ass men and this has been studied. But I doubt it has ever been studied in juveniles like Archie. It's well-known they stunt your growth and close growth plates prematurely. I've seen lots of athletic kids in my life but none with muscles like Archie had (before she let him rot in a hospital bed of course). I hope they investigate her for abuse when he dies.
After prolonged use, four persons had developed depressive syndromes. Two subjects exhibited hypomania-like symptoms during the time immediately preceding the suicide. Four subjects had recently committed acts of violence while using AAS. In some cases these acts exacerbated the subjects' problems in personal relationships or at work, which in turn seem to have precipitated the suicides. Only one of them had experienced suicidal ideation before starting to use AAS.

Maybe Archie was in a hypomanic state preceding suicide like the two dead men they studied. It could even worse when you add on ADHD and the natural energy of a young teen like Archie was.
Nice derailing, are you going to get a reprimand?

This would fall under visible decomp, as his lips as black and the necrosis inside him is visible with standard imaging.

We keep hearing about Archie. What about the rabbit that was apparently the catalyst for his suicide? Is it being cared for by Hollie? Boiling in a pot on her boyfriend's stove? Left to starve forgotten in the back garden? Turned loose to fend for itself? Dumped at the nearest animal shelter? Is it even alive?

Where is the rabbit, Hollie?
