People have a horribly twisted understanding of what a lawsuit is. They are expensive, slow as molasses in January, and unbelievably time consuming. A successful suit for simple personal injury where it's obvious who was at fault can take five-seven years. Just filing a lawsuit is expensive.

Here in Texas it was $250 just to file the starting paperwork for a lawsuit. You also have to pay a decent fee for the papers to be served to the Defendant. There's more fees after that, for depositions, medical records (if applicable), subpoenas, etc.

That's if you're retarded enough to represent yourself (don't do that. I've got a college degree as a paralegal, worked for a couple years in the industry on lawsuits, and I still wouldn't do anything myself. The rules are far too complex). The simple pi case I mentioned above? The lawyer's cut of the winnings is in the thousands. For a cut-and-dry case.

If you sue a person and not a company you may be awarded damages and legal fees,.but depending on the jurisdiction you may never see your money. A lot of jurisdictions don't have a way to enforce that those judgments get paid. They don't go on a credit report, there's no garnishing wages, it's left up to the ethics of the loser. A good lawyer will keep working on your behalf to get your money, but there's only so much they can do.

What I don't get about this dude is that they're really pushing for him to be something- I've seen a lot of collabs lately on youtube that features him- so someone is putting out money to try and get him to have at least a one hit wonder. I don't speak Slovenian, but I do speak Russian (or at least I did until my father passed away... long ago) and there are some linguistic similarities, so I can make some tentative guesses as to what's being said here. If my flimsy understanding is correct, he's demanding to be addressed with either feminine or neutral terms (it doesn't affect pronouns in first or second person, though). In Russian, "zhenskij rod" refers to nouns of feminine gender, and "srednij rod" refers to neuter ones (they're completely random and don't make any sense, but they greatly affect how you conjugate verbs). Verbs are not gendered except in past tense, so if Slovenian is anything like Russian (again, making guesses; I don't speak it), the driving instructor might have used the masculine form of the verbs to refer to things he did (or didn't do) in past tense.
