Any of you kiwis been to an afterlife after having a near-death incident or we’re considered clinically dead?

What did you see, and what was it like?

Yes.

I did once.
It was so beautiful, and kinda hot. Lotta screaming, but I think it was screams of happiness. These neat guys with pitchforks shown me around, and I kinda blacked out after that.
When I woke back up, I seemed to have these weird lash marks on my back.
Odd, huh?

I know someone who was dead for a minute or so. She said she was walking barefoot in a cave towards a light, wearing a robe. She felt peace and happiness, and knew somehow she was about to see people she loved and missed. After that she stopped worrying about dying, doesn't get as stressed about a lot of things.

I had a friend who drowned and was clinically dead, and had a NDE. She went to heaven, heard God talking to her, then she was revived and slammed back in her body. It might be relevant to note that she was a devout Catholic at the time and I daresay that would have coloured the whole experience. She gets very distressed if people question the veracity of her NDE, of the existence of heaven, of the afterlife, and of God.

Do I believe her when she tells me that this is what she experienced? Yes I do.

Do I think that she genuinely saw heaven and God, or do I think that the whole thing was a vivid hallucination produced by dying, oxygen starved brain cells? Now that, my friend, is the right question to ask.

no, but my math tutor said that she asked her mom to send her a rainbow after she's dead as a sign that she's safe on the other side. either on the day of her death or one day after, my tutor did see a huge rainbow (and i don't think it was raining)
